i am a a core downloader and would like to out something in the limelight 1) P2P are que oriented- so they dont start instantly and neither they go to extreamly high speeds like 512 KBPS all the time! so u cant utilize ur full capacity with them. MORAL OF THE STORY :-- there goes ur 2 hrs from ur 6 hrs in q and another 4 hrs not utilizing ur full capacity 2) speed wise i think MTNL AND BSNL give it ! as far as my experince with MTNL they were OK @ their work thats it i can guide u with ur problem! any other ?'s MORAL 2 :- forget about utilizing ur full capacity coz half of the time u will be just in q

hmmm if u wanna truly download then never take dataone or triband they dont have unlimited downloads and if u got for it for a download connection then be prepared to fetch out 10k + / month its better that u take a service from ur local cable wala or wait for other operators to start a better service in ur area

hmmm yup this is indian offcourse but my point was wirelss is better than wireline! no considerations on india as a factor was given! 2) 5.5 mbps ! that may be as far as i know ur hdd limit. i mean how fast a hdd can transfer after all a frnd of mine has a 3.0 ghz processer with sata and ample of ram! but his speeds also not go more than 6.something mbps i think thats a hdd lmit my computer dose not go more than 1 mbps even if i connect the computers through wireline

1)The MTNL network is certainly good. The only reason it went down in CERTAIN places was because of that fact that water entered the exchanges/junction boxes causing short circuit. That has nothing to do with the network/qiring quality. 2)Wireless networks are fine for voice communication but when it comes to high speed communication, wireless can't beat wirline communication. The maximum speeds right now for CDMA network is 144 kbps (with 1X RTT). When EVDO is used, the speed will increase. At the same time, the maximum speed possible on the MTNL network or any other wireline network with ADSL 2+ technology is 10 MBPS. Higher speeds are also possible with VHDSL HDSL etc. Wire line communication gives a much much higher maximum speed as compared to wireless. 46164[/snapback] wi-fi supports upto 54 mbps wimax upto 40 i suppose --> dont remeber that , please conform i never said lauch internet on CDMA, cdma was never ment for internet its ment for voice. i mean use wi-fi or wimax --> which is in testing phase right now with wireline i again say 1) mentaince problem 2) connectivity problem -> because they cannot go any where and everywhere 3) infrastruture problem --> expencive laying cables and mentaining them with wireless 1) just need a tower and a reciver ! none of above mentioned problems 2) easy mentaince because the problem can only be @ two places at clients end or @ servers end --> no wires to rectify 3) can reach any where --> specially my house which just has sify + mtnl or pacenet connectivity 4) less cost of infra i am just comparing it this way if there are other points plz tell me

guys i was watching the board stats a few mins back which read Most Online In One Day Is 197 On October 19th, 2005. Most users ever online was 361 on Jun 7 2005, 11:07 PM should'nt most online in one day be == 361 on Jun 7 2005 or am i looking @ it from a diffrent point of view
