Any feedback on the speeds which one gets on a GPRS connection ? Are they close to the Reliance speed or is Reliance way ahead of them ? 14,700 looks like a steep price to pay ... -- Salil

Its a pcmcia card which can support speeds upto 144kbps and can directly go into ur laptop, no need for the phone and the data cable .. Excerpt from ET Dated 17th Dec (ET Article) ....... In the coming days, the company plans to get aggressive on R-Connect adding new devices such as WAN data PC cards that allow users to surf the internet without the bother of having to buy a mobile phone. “Test marketing has already begun and we will commercially launch it soon,” Mr Shukla said ....... Any feedback on the pcmcia card which is/has been launched by reliance ? I have been told that the speed would be 144 kbps as compared to 115kbps which we currently get using the handset. Any idea of how much would the actual pcmica card be selling at ? My dealer told me the card has been launched in Mumbai. Cheers -- Salil
