Hello...I bought a RD3510 CDMA phone around 10 months back and now the battery seems to be dying.
Is the battery under warranty?
Where can i get it replaced, I am in Mumbai?
If not, how much will a new battery cost, or is it better to replace the phone itself?
thanks!

Try Samsung Corby Speed...although it's priced t 8.5k...but you will get HSD on this set...
HSD ? You mean high speed date ?
Well I wont be using data on it at all. And if I am spending 8.5k I may as well change to GSM as I can get really cool handsets in that price.
Hows Samsung Mpower NX2...any idea ?
Thanks!

Hello...I am looking for a new handset for my CDMA connection. Here in Mumbai at the webworld in my area(Malad West), they only have Samsung in the range I am looking at(5000-7000 rs).
Any suggestions as to which Samsung handset I should go for?
Thanks!

after much haggling...customer care have sent the settings.
it works now.
thank u all for your inputs too.

Yes...these settings are still valid...try them once...
tried...didn't work ! :-(
Your GPRS should be activated for these setting to work...try sending ALL to 55100 once again...
if i had GPRS why would i need those manual settings. infact why would i even need to create this thread.
the whole point is that GPRS is not getting activated at my end !

no i have not. are the settings mentioned there the proper way to do it ?
also that post is around 10 months old...is that still the best way 2 be done ?

Hello...I recently took a new reliance gsm...how to activate gprs on it.
I have sent a message "all" to 55100...been more than 2 days...still no reply from reliance. Is there any other way to do it ?
I am using Nokia - e-71.
Any help is much appreciated.

hello,
wanted to know whether in pre paid international roaming is there or not ?
if yes what are the charges ?
thanks!
-
ok...frankly i didnt knew that call fwrd was available even on pre paid so thanks for that...
i guess you need to bombard them with mails...send them the same mail 10 times every hour...it may help...mail all the reliance ADAG email ids..not only rcom....attack them from every possible front and hope for the best....
also there are many consumers forums (yes this one is one of them too), where you file your grievance for a particular company or service provider...
-
yes i found the price for just the phone...minimum is 1700 without the connection at the local webworld...
airtel has a new bundled offer of nokia phone + pre paid lifetime for 1499....this looks the cheapest to me...
what say ?
-
LG RD3500 is available for Rs 999 they are advertising it heavilycheck it's availability near you
nopes, they are saying its been stopped...i did enquire the same thing about 999...
-
for some reason lg rd3000 is not available in mumbai..
here the lowest price of phone starts from 1700 rs for lg...
i asked for classic, they said its been discontinued, and the reliance webworld were happy that classic has been stopped..guess lots of problems in the handsets ?
-

Now that phone's end time has come and i am in need of a new phone thru which i can connect to R-Connect using a data cable.

hi all,
thanks for chipping in wid ur suggestions...im actually shifting to mumbai for goood and not just moving for temporary purpose....
so far looks like reliance is what everyone is suggesting....on the site they have 3 different types of phones -
*wireless phone
*wireless terminal
*reliance landline
any idea whats the difference between all 3 and wich i shud go for...also can we use our own phone instrument wid reliance, or what if in future the instrument gets damage...we will have 2 buy it from reliance only ? in bsnl/mtnl the advantage is that we can buy instrument of our choice...
tho this is not the forum for this topic...can anyone suggest which broadband connection 2 go for in malad...all seem to suggest airtel....
thanks!
-
hi,
i am moving to mumbai....i will be staying in malad...im confused as to which landline i should go...reliance, airtel or tata or bsnl....
any suggestions...tata and bsnl im nt very keen as their rates and customer service are not the best...i feel...
reliance and airtel im more inclined towards...
what do u feel...

Yeah I know its very unusual. My usage is around 60-90 mins of call time everyday more or less. And as far as cycling the battery to death is concerned, I recharge most of the time when it says low battery or when the bar is at 1.
