  1. Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

Good review, about the data2ext you can try posting the query in XDA to the dev of a2sd might be he can guide.
  2. Apple iPad 2

Exactly and that is how they work with their products, Jobs had once said "You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new." He decides what the customer wants, and he is usually correct.
  3. The Most Awaited MNP Finally Introduced!

^ True it is the lack of port ins which is worrying, because the trend is customers moving away from CDMA. If RGSM was better then RCOM would have seen more INPs. RCOM is losing because RGSM is not upto the mark and RCDMA, though has immense potential for growth, is being mismanaged. It is bad for the CDMA space if RCDMA is losing out, especially noting that CDMA is better technology.

  6. 150 Rupee Coin Launched By RBI

This is matter of pride for all Indians, thanks Fevin for this information. Pity that the medal has been stolen and will never be recovered.
  7. The Spectrum Tussle - Cdma V Gsm

FCFS is not correct policy, auction is. FCFS means incumbent operators have benefit which newer operators will not. TRAI should implement pro-competition policies like in developed countries. I could explain further but no point as no one from TRAI will read this.
  8. Well RCOM having financial trouble is not good for the market, it in a way strengthens the GSM cartel and bad for CDMA. The company by all accounts seems poorly run, might be MDA can step in and take over, but with this much debt it will be tough unless some restructuring is done.
  9. The Most Awaited MNP Finally Introduced!

If RCOM goes under, then it is bad for CDMA in India. The GSM cartel already has monopoly, and TI is all but dead. Only RCDMA is a biggie in CDMA space as MTS is still fledgling.
  10. Which Postpaid service is better in Chennai?

Generic pros and cons of RCDMA postpaid. Pros good voice quality, cheap calls with pps pack, cheap SMS with pack Cons expensive data Not aware of circle specific benefits and drawbacks others can help. If you have specific requirements then do list them so that other members can help more e.g. your call usage local/STD/onnet/offnet, data usage volume etc.
  11. How to restore the handset original MEID?

This from first post of Sadikk bhai's thread. The MEID given here is dummy, you need to give your phone's MEID.
  12. MNP Retention Offer You Received

I too had sent the port-out request too from my RCDMA postpaid connection a few days ago. Until now, there is no information from them. As cited in many places in this forum, it seems Reliance is not at all keen in preserving their existing customers.. Please call CC and ask for a retention plan. Based on your needs they should offer you certain plans. Mention that you are postpaid so high ARPU, do not expect them to call you first. RCDMA is losing so many customers that their retention department is overworked.
  13. MNP Retention Offer You Received

Thanks MS. Yes did get this, however the 100 offnet has not been activated yet and is for 3 months only. If someone is sure about their onnet STD requirements for longer term and would definitely stick with same network for 1 year, then I suggest they go for ARP 4999 plan which has same onnet benefit with better offnet call charges of 40p local/75p STD whereas in 440 it is 99p local/1.49 rupees STD.
  14. The Most Awaited MNP Finally Introduced!

^ Thanks then how can one identify onnet? This is important for those who have special call packages for particular network.
  15. If you have proof of this do complain to TRAI and DOT, data privacy is of paramount importance. Sue them for a good sum.

  17. The Most Awaited MNP Finally Introduced!

@igloo Dear friend, in other countries, where MNP implemented long ago, it works like this only. People who have completed porting, can please anyone confirm if this is working? It should but wanted confirmation.
  18. MNP Retention Offer You Received

Was on 770 onnet plan for RCDMA and required RCDMA STD free, got offered 440 onnet plan and rupees 100 waiver on other network call charges.
