i believe no, coz the nokia care helpine ppl say that phones listed on www.nokia.co.in will be launched in india. also the the phone looks kewl but doesn't support bluetooth either p.s- the above link is of nokia's asia-pacific site and not india's

guyz i'd some queries in my mind 1. does this phone have TFT screen? 2. is the fone working fine with high capacity mmc. coz i read in the manual that max of 64mb mmc is tested ok. 3. any news of better fones in the near future? and finally 4. is it actually worth the buy?

hey ppl, jus had first hand experience wid the phone.(well jus for 5-6mins and then battery went off) first thing i noticed was the weight. alot heavier than my 6000. screen was looking gud and the menu looked like my cousin's 7600 (yes, the odd shaped one) but i was seriously amazed by size and placement of the menu button, too small and b/w big 4 buttons. i swiched on the camera, the screen refresh rate was very high, then swiched on the video camera. the video wasn't quite wat i expected , quite blurred mayb coz the protective cover wasn't removed. also the designed din't appeal me much, too simple. i switched on the radio the sound quality was absolutely gr8, also i noticed tat radio can be played with the loudspeaker also. i couldn't figure out how to change the volume of loud speaker but till wat i heard it was nice too. the odd thing was that loudspear was placed rite above the battery where my figers kept covering it again and again. but the most exciting thing was when i saw the r-world icon. but this was the most dissapointing thing also coz as soon as the r-world logo came the battery went off. but the guy assured me that r-world is fully functional. also din't get the chance to use the bluetooth but im sure it'll work jus fine. the guy told me that only the blue one is coming rite now. when i asked the price he told me that its around 15000 mrp. i said wtf?**** i called nokia care and gave the phone to him. on hearing that price was 12999/- he called up some higher auth. guy who confirmed that price was 12999/- + 4% service charge. which comes to 13520/- dis is nough for now. ill keep u guyz updated @net savvy - there was a media player present to play mp3 n acc. not sure bout stereo or mono though

i thought nokia didn't use qualcomm chips.

hey ppl jus called up nokia care n enquired bout the nokia 6255 launched today itself. dey said its mrp is rs 12999/- its available with reliance but r-world is completely scrapped off.(though i doubt dis info.) also we can purchase it from any priority dealer n get it activated wid reliance. the cc guyz still don have any idea bout dis(as usual ) i also enquired also about the future availability of nokia phones and i was told dat only those phone listed on www.nokia.co.in under upcoming models will be launched and none else. any1 having more info. plz contribute. cheers for nokia for finally launching a rather better phone!!!!!! p.s- mods, i am aware that a topic already exists exist on dis but i thought this could make a gr8er impact. plz feel free to merge it on previous 1 if u wish.

i dunno if dat works but i know a better option in bitpim if u have all ringtones in the window jus send phone data , replace all. p.s dont use space in any of tones( change file name bfor uploading through bitpim

even i wanted to purchase this set. the ww guyz told me that i'll have to give rs 4200 under which i'll get the phone along with connection and gift hamper worth 1500(including talktime worth 1000 and shaving kit ) i enquired about this scheme here in delhi but they told me that no such scheme is available rite now. also another wwexpress quoted me price of rs 4500 with connection and no other offer. my question is that is there any diff b/w prices and offer in diff ww and wwe. if yes than can someone provide me the prices so we delhietes can get this one at cheapest.(i don't want 2 purchase from a dealer coz the ww guy told me " jo bhi dealer se phone leta hai ek mahine baad uska phone band ho jata hai") p.s- the above stated prices were from rel ww- model town and rel wwe bali nagar, delhi

LG-6000 does support mp3 format. But max size limit is only 2mb. 33642[/snapback] i am having around 4mb+ mp3'sin my fone rite this moment. jus upload ur pics in gallery and graphics to ur pc in order to clear some memory. also i've already tried putting in mp3's wid higher bitrates but 32 comes out the best. also a song of aroud 3 mins comes out around 600 bytes
