Aircel has started 3G testing in Kerala. I got 3G signal of IND 809 in Kochi.

Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea is understood to be forming alliance for offering 3G services in all circles. RCOM has not talked about forming any such tie ups. Are they planning to do so or will 3G be available in select circles? Any pointers to this?

Those who are getting Tata Docomo 3G signal, are you able to latch to 3g network? I changed the mode from 'Dual mode' to 'UMTS'. I am now getting 3G. Able to make and receive calls. But not able to browse as of now. Others please try...

Chrome. No.1 in speed stability and ease of use. Extension support is an added advantage.

When first used 3G speed was more than 3Mbps. But, Now. for me 3G speeds are never going above 2Mbps. In-fact it stays exactly at 2Mbps all along while downloading. Looks like BSNL is limiting the speed.

well I was thinking that MNP would start out as intra-circle and at a later stage MNP would be national. But from the looks of it no one seems to be interested in an inter-circle MNP which would have made the life of people in transferable job easier. The present scenario don't support the idea of one-person,one-number. I would like to know if you have any info about how MNP is implemented in other countries. like... is MNP only within a state in US?

Did you guys already know that MNP is permitted only intra-circle? In such a scenario, I doubt a huge success of MNP.
