There is no official announcement in the change in network charges so far. She confirmed i will not be charged any network charges for any websites browsed. When i asked about the website information, she said it might be for new customers.. but even they have not received any information on the same. my bill only shows the truth, any way i am going to start browsing from mobile as she has confirmed i will not charged.

"We believe that this agreement is positive for the industry, enabling the market to benefit from innovation and new technologies," said Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, CEO of Nokia Corporation. "The positive financial impact of this agreement is within Nokia's original expectations and fully reflects our leading intellectual property and market positions." "I'm very pleased that we have come to this important agreement." said Paul Jacobs, CEO of Qualcomm. "The terms of the new license agreement, including the financial and other value provided to Qualcomm, reflect our strong intellectual property position across many current and future generation technologies. This agreement paves the way for enhanced opportunities between the companies in a number of areas." Source: http://www.nokia.com/A4136001?newsid=1238093
  5. s u are right. but so far they have not officially announced about the change in charges. we will have to wait and see. please everyone note that L1 (25 per month) is not available for new activation. they have closed the plan. so at anytime if reliance withdraws change in charges for existing customers then those who have deactivated the plan cannot activate it again. so before deactivating L1 please be sure of change in charges. one customer care says - its still unlimited another says - 500kb/day free usage another says only 500bytes/day free usage i have called CC 5 times regarding this, but no one said about Re1/10kb for 3rd party website. i told them its mentioned in website, they said it might be a mistake not Re1/10kb its Rs.1/10kb (0.1) so i am still not sure of this. this month i have used several times 3rd party website to test. so i have to wait till my bill gets generated.
  6. i got the same reply again after shouting. they know only one word "escalated" ----------------------------------------------- Dear Customer, In response to your mail regarding your Reliance Mobile number 9344102060, please note that your request is logged as Service Request ID 72546840. We have escalated the same to the concerned department and will respond to you in next two business working days. Yours sincerely, Service Assurance Cell Reliance Communications ----------------------------------------------------- and my final reply to their mail Please dont send the same reply again and again. Its better not to reply. I asked to clarify my doubt on charges, but you people are again and again escalating to one another department and not caring to clarify my doubt on charges. I called a CC just now and he told me under L1 plan we can avail only 500bytes (not 500KB) free usage per day. Please have a look on the following calculation 500 bytes per day free usage = 0.5 kb so one month = 30*0.5 = 15kb if 15kb is used normally without L1 plan then i will be charged only 15p (10p/10kb). Then what is the use to pay 25 rupees monthly where i can get only 15p free usage. This is the worst experience i ever had with any customer care. -- Regards, Ramesh Amala Srinivasan
  7. Are u in any plan L1 or L4 etc.. or u are charged generally ?
  8. Qualcomm, Nokia Sign Licensing Deal, End Lawsuits

  9. Panel For Nokia 6275 & Nokia 6265

  10. lets see if tata's virgin mobile can offer some good plans for 6265/6275 cdma users in the near future. they can actually utilize this opportunity to pull reliance customers... i got reply from service assurance cell ----------------------------------------------------- Dear Customer, With reference to your mail regarding your Reliance Mobile number 9344102060, please note that your request is logged as Service Request ID 72546840. We have escalated the same to the concerned department and will respond to you in next three business working days. And my reply --------------------------------------- I am just asking to clarify my doubt on network charges. I don't understand why you need 3 business days to respond. My mail is escalating/forwarding from one department to another for the last 3 days and no one is able to clarify what is the actual network charges. -- Regards, Ramesh Amala Srinivasan
  11. they had plans to earn more profit from their rworld contents. but their memberships L1,L4 etc.. for unlimited browsing made customers to use rworld contents very less than reliance expected. few examples are irctc introduced free mobile application, but they said it will not support cdma handsets because it will affect the railway application already available in rworld which is a paid service. (actually the application was supporting cdma) the same story with ICICI imobile application, they are not supporting cdma yahoo go etc.. all these will affect the paid application usage in rworld reliance have requested most of the application makers not to support cdma for free service and make all application as paid service in rworld..
  12. please dont rely on UB amounts. adjustments are done only in the bills. wait and see ur next bill.
  13. nodal officer's job is just forwarding mails to concern department. they have no intention to answer our queries. keep forwarding forwarding......... nobody knows the final destination of our mails... may be TRASH... or SPAM..... i think ambani wants to solve each and every issues personally. so we have to go to knowledge city and meet ambani... he may be now solving issues happened in 2000, 2001, 2002 etc.. so we will have to wait for another 6-7 years for our turn..
  14. i got the following reply from nodal officer ------------------------------------------------------------- Sir, Greetings From Reliance! Thank you for writing to us. We have forwarded your concern along with necessary documents to the respective department and shall resolve the same soon. Please bear with us till then.
  15. i mailed to customer care, service assurance cell, nodal officer and corporate center 24 hours ago, till now no reply from anyone.
  16. today i checked rworld > moreservice > assistance > rates > about kb it still says 25 per month for unlimited network usage
  17. My mail to reliance ---------------------------------- My mobile # is 9344102060 I am in Rworld L1 membership plan. In this plan i can use unlimited network access. But yesterday i came to know from your website that from July 9th the charges are changed and 3rd party website network charges will be applicable as Re.1/10kb. I would like to know if this is applicable to my L1 membership plan. http://www.reliancemobileworld.co.in/RMWor.../kbcharges.html Also in the above page you have mentioned only "Starting 9thJuly visit any Mobile Internet site from ur RelianceMobile@ Re1/10kb." You have not mentioned from which year. Is it effective from 2008 July 9th ? If the above information in the website is true and is applicable to all existing customers then reliance is totally discouraging the valuable customers. There is no official announcement and no proper information to customer about the change in network charges. As per L1 plan network charges are unlimited and suddenly one morning u should not make it limited. This is not ethical and its cheating the customer by changing the existing plan without customers knowledge. I called up CC yesterday to know about the change in network charges. I was informed that there is no change in charges and i can still enjoy unlimited network access with existing L1 plan. but the information in your website was confusing me so i called CC again today. But this time i was informed that under L1 plan i have only 500kb free usage and after that 10p/10kb. This means L1 is not unlimited and its limited to 500kb free usage. Moreover if i use 501kb, then i have to pay for all 501kb and not for 1kb. I am sure that anyone of the CC i called have provided false information. But both the CC disagreed information in your website saying Re.1/10kb for 3rd party websites browsed from mobile. Pls update me which information is true - 1. yesterday's CC saying L1 is unlimited 2. today's CC saying L1 is limited to 500kb free usage 3. Information in your website Re.1/10kb Kindly provide a correct information to the customers, please dont make us fool giving false information. This is creating a bad impression about the company among its valuable customers. please update me with the correct information regarding rworld network charges and L1 plan.
  18. hey i called up CC twice they said there is no change in charges for wap browsing. and also there is no official announcement regarding the same. I too checked mobile browsing for few minutes sterday and today unbilled is not increased. i didnt receive any sms on new tariff. i dont know whats happening around. but the information in their website is confusing me... pls tell me whom should i contact to confirm this..
  19. what he is talking about is Reliance Infocom, but its now Reliance Communications...
  20. the new face of tata - virgin mobile - they pay us for incoming calls. no wonder soon reliance will charge for incoming calls too, as they have to invest a lot in GSM all over india.
  21. can anyone think the past, we had some days with rworld free to use. in 2005 when they made rworld a paid service they intimated each and every customer. March 29, 2005 R World goes paid from 1st April * Announces all-inclusive tariffs @ Rs.2 to Rs.25 * Users to be intimated of charges every time they log on But this time in 2008, no one is willing to believe what they have done. i have not still digested the hike. waiting for a proper announcement from reliance either the hike is true and it continues OR the hike is true and withdrawing the hike.
  22. one more interesting info in reliancemobileworld.co.in and under the new page "mobile internet browsing" they have mentioned like Starting 9thJuly...... they have not mentioned the YEAR.... fools they are.....
  23. i was just thinking why they hiked price soo much suddenly. they are supposed to be the cheap cost service provider as they have their own servers, while other operators are sharing server with bsnl. the main reason would be less usage of rworld and no profit from that. so now people will use rowrld more than 3rd party sites. the main wonder is they have not seriously informed or published in media section in their website. they will inform only price reduction. regarding std and roaming rate reduction sms from 9320572051 i have received the sms for more than 30 times till date(last sms today). and no single information abt price hike. i think this should be te serious issue ever in reliance
  24. from an article i came to know that mukesh group is using airtel
  25. my last bill date is 11 july, in that bill also they have not informed about the price change w.e.f 9th july. moreover i have not received any message. i think soon they may introduce some unlimited plans like 199/month or more etc... even then of no use for me like customers.. ohh i cant just imagine losing 25/month unlimited plan....... mukesh is great, he knows anil is behind money and thats why he cut him off and saved his name....
