    Hi Guys,

    Its a long time since nokia launched 6265/6275 CDMA handsets. But till date there is no software or firmware upgrade for these highend handsets. Latest models coming now for 6k/7k/8k INR is having much more features than these handsets. Its time for an upgrade. Nokia has to consider its valuable CDMA handsets customer and provide an upgrade for software.

    As my part i have requested nokia through Email for a software upgrade. Kindly each and every 6265/6275 owners send mail an email to support.services@nokia.com requesting for a software upgrade for our CDMA handsets.

    I am hereby pasting my mail to nokia yesterday. I am sure they will respond us if we all mail them. Lets hope for the best.

    Requesting Nokia a firmware upgrade for Nokia 6265.

    Current version - V HL190V0600.nep - RM66

    Features required in upgrade

    1. Much faster software

    2. Advanced graphic look for Menus and Options

    3. Option during a Voice call - RECORD

    4. Navigate the menus - main menu view - TAB view

    5. Bluetooth File transfer - SHOW PROGRESS (% transferred)

    6. Bluetooth - My phone's visibility - TEMPORARY and PERMANENT show to all

    7. MP3/Music player - SHOW PROGRESS BAR while playing

    8. Equiliser, Tracklist options on main page of music player

    9. Media player - Play videos with BLACK background

    10. Camera settings - Image - white balance, red eye etc..

    11. Camera settings - Video - size 320 x 240

    12. Voice recorder - Maximum time depending on free space

    13. Full Screen Caller image

    14. Receive bluetooth files directly to memory card

    15. More options and features

    please consider nokia 6265 customers request and provide a firmware upgrade.

    I had the same problem in my 6265 2 months back. The problem is common with all sliding models. The wire strip connecting upper half and lower half of sliding phone will get defected when we slide frequently. To solve this problem we need to replace the wire strip with new one. It costs more than 1000 INR. this will affect display, speaker, memory card, front keys etc..

    I am facing a problem with nokia 6265.

    when ever i slide down the phone, it stops detecting sd card.

    it happens with both sd cards 64mb(nokia) & 1gb(sandisk).

    please can any one help?

    Also, for nearly all folders in nokia 6265, in their options have a feature of

    "Activation key list".

    Do you know what for and how this can be used.

    Hi, Even I am using Nokia - 6265, but so far I have not got the problem yet. It seems like your set has some problem. Better please consult the Nokia care centre for the same.

    Previously, I had a problem with Kingston 1GB card. I replaced the same with 2GB Kingston Mini SD card (Usually only 1GB will be supported), with which it is working well so far. I am using that from the past 6 months without any problem.

    I have been posted to Doha (Qatar) have to join there on 1st june: but guys i cannot throw this expensive handset here.

    Qatar doesn't has a CDMA network. And 6265 will not work there.

    But you can always gift it to me before you leave for Qatar :Contento:

    Hi everyone,

    I am relocating to the UK (England) for work reasons. Is there any CDMA service provider there as Europe is predominantly GSM. If yes, will my 6265 work there? Please help.

    Australia

    Bangladesh

    Canada

    China

    Hong Kong

    Indonesia

    Israel

    Jamaica

    New Zealand

    Taiwan

    Thailand

    USA

    Rest of the countries GSM networks, but u can carry same number around the world

    Hi all.

    I have a query

    Last week I saw Sony W810 GSM mobile

    It has woofers add on given with the piece

    I want to know if there is any chance of connecting external woofers to nokia 6275

    ALthough Inbuilt speaker is rocking more than w810

    Still External woofers attracting a llot

    pls help

    It is just to connect through the dku port on the mobile

    I can answer any call , make a call normally .....but to listen to the ringtone, i need to use handsfree....
    :Equivocado: I think there is s/w problem in 6265 coz... even I hv got similar...like camera not workin..thn went to Nokia care, they gave me repaired after 15 daysJuz visit Nokia care...n get it repaired...ASAP

    i had this same problem with my nokia 6265. just visited nokia care yesterday and get that cleared. the problem is -- the speaker and mobile circuit board is connected through a spring. sometime this spring will not expand and sits in the board, not touching the speaker. so u can hear sound and when u shake or tap with finger the spring release and and get connected to the speaker. pls visit nokia care immediately to solve

    I have downloaded opera minibrowser (6265) in my nokia 6275 phone. when i connect internet from my pc thru bluetooth, it connects but when i start the opera browser it get some error like error 3.-1.10:80/ (network problem) net is on but i get the same problem everytime i try. please suggest me anything best to use opera or any other browser on my mobile

    Also plz send me the link for nokia 6275 minibrowser (if any)
