    Thanks for all the suggestions and patience. as told earlier before that we cant do confirmation for each MEID request.. same goes with payment confirmation. we may call each member for confirmation about donation before sending Meid..

    also this is very sad news that we might have to close MEID registration process soon due to the n00bs queries/followup with us and reliance customer care.

    thanks all for donations and other contributions.

    in below screen all unread emials meids are pending and will be done in 3-4 days.

    On other note - Zayed got married today. It was just his nikah today. Bidaai tomorrow and reception day after.. and then me off to Goa till 12th. Hope to complete all pending works before going.. zayed will be back in business from 9th though..

    Palm Pixi Plus Quick Data Guide.

    Guys atlast i got time for this thing.. Beside i have been helping all palm pixi guys on teamviewer and on site..

    now decided to start small user guide on how to make ur Data work and how to connect in USB Drive mode.

    prerequisite

    1) QPST (Get it here) and install it.

    2) Palm Diagnostic Drivers. (Attached) this is for XP and Win 7 32 bit only.

    3) Five minutes.

    STEPS

    punch ##000000# and note down (MSID)Mobile Station ID on paper. (I sent my MSID to my EMail once in 2006 so i can get it even after years if needed) u see 2 options here. One is (MDN)Mobile Directory number which is nothing but ur Mobile number and Mobile Station ID. In Mobile Directory Number feed ur 10 Digit Reliance number. the moment u push Edit button ur MSID also vanish so better note it down before doing anything else. Now ur MDN goes in first option and MSID goes in second option and press save. and exit. Phone may or may not reboot. Doesnot matter.

    Punch ##8727277# on ur phone and it will open new card. press port 1 and select DIAG from none.

    Connect phone to PC it will search for driver give it location of file u downloaded attached here.

    Once driver done. open QPST configuration. add port. and select whatever port ur phone on.

    now open QPST service Programming and select port which is showing ur phone..

    press read from phone. it will ask SPC. all verizon palmpixi+ SPC is 000000 enter and hit OK.

    it will read phone. Go to PPP Config. in PP authentication u see username and password.

    enter ur 10 digit phone number as username and password. and hit write to phone.

    ur phone will reboot. unplug. u should now see 1x logo beside network bars. if not go to dialer press top right corner and hit preferences. scroll down to data usage if its OFF hit ON. and this is same place u keep control on ur phone data bill too.

    this might look difficult when reading but its damn easy. u have to one step at a time.. so better start doing it without reading whole thing and backing out.

    If u still think u cant do it.. i am there on Gtalk to do it through Team viewer.

    hope it helps all now.

    p.s dont forget to hit ##8727277# again and select NONE on port 1 instead of DIAG. so ur phone can be detected as USB Drive.

    Hey guys i am back.. was on small off-rimweb due to workload of MEID registration, <eid restore and data activations..

    I am still waiting to get voice activation from Reliance in my Palm Pixi Plus :( Next worry is how to transfer data from PC? When connected to PC using USB cable, there is absolutly no response:( :(

    For voice call just use HCC, or visit relaiane webworld and ask them to retain ur number on palm pixi+, they will ask u RSN, the MEID on Box starts with "A" is ur RSN.

    For data transfer on phone punch on dialer ##8727277# and on Port 1 select None instead og DIAG.

    I was playing with my phone settings and by mistake erased my MSID number.

    Discussed, Hope u got it sorted.. If not do the swapping from SIm and thn to phone again.

    I don't know if it will work with *229 ???

    Also, if can anyone enlighten me how to transfer contacts on palm pixi plus ??

    Yes *229+9digits HCC will work on ur 8830.

    For transfering please visit Palm.com..

    Best way to keep ur contact up to date is use Gmail sync. visit google.com/sync

    guys please understand this.. there is no universal way of restoring MEIDs..

    hence all those who paid towards software dev can contact me on Gtalk in order to restore MEIDs..(Once paid users are done ill start slowly with non-paid members)

    we have also mentioned in first post u cant demand anything after paying for software development universal HDR writer.

    as most of us aware recently reliance blocked all universal UID pass for Data connectivity.. i am flooded with handsets for UId change and MEID/ESN restore..

    kindly bear with me.. i cant help each and everyone on their convenience of time even though i want to..

    if phone didnt reboot no problem.. intention of entering Dummy MSID and MDN is to show first app that its already active and it will allow u to configure profile in order to use App catalogue..

    also i installed Preware in order to do hiogh techinical system level changes in OS and use home brew apps..

    for twitter- Spaz

    For email - Gmail

    for Music - Music remix excellent player..

    and so on...
