It is for prepaid balance amount not for GPRS balance. When I sent a SMS for "BAL" to 53670 , I got a message that "No default is configured".

After long time, I have tried to use RGSM in Pune - Kalyani Nagar, Vishranthadi. Surprisingly signal & sound quality is improved drastically. Now it is much better. But still noticed a fluctuation signal strength. I think RGSM is woke up now. Does any one noticed the signal & sound quality improvement in other parts of Pune & Maharastra?

Are you sure? I am using RGSM number of Mumbai circle in Pune. I want to change the RGSM to other operator like Docomo in Pune.

I have a RGSM Mumbai circle number and using in Pune. Is it possible to change it from RGSM to Docomo mumbai circle by providing the required docs in Pune?

Babus are already doing so much. They are busy in making and saving the money through corruption. Why did they want Broadband. Unnecessary headache if technology improves. Shameless babus and bureaucrats. They never change and don't expect India change.

In Pune I heard about Uninor. It is doing well. In Pune even BSNL is better than RGSM. Fluctuations in RGSM is amazing. At my home, if I am at one corner of hall, signal strength will be good , if move just one meter from one corner, signal will become zere. Greatest voice clarity .If you get any marketing calls once, they never call you back.

Last week I had been to Gujarat and this week Hyderabad. RGSM is much better in AP & Gujarat. GPRS also extremely well. Back to Pune. Maharastra RGSM is horrible and voice quality is extremely bad. I don't know what is the problem with RGSM with Maharastra. we need to complaint to Raj Thackery.

If he is talking about RGSM, defintely something wrong. RGSM is having problem across ROM and I don't think it will be solved in near future. But it is comparatively good in Hyderabad. Docomo voice clarity is good but needs improvement in network coverage. As per my understanding, they know the problem and working for network coverage improvements. But needs to think seriously about GPRS if it is not solved in short period. I have filed a multiple complaints.

I didn't get any problem today. Entire day network is up at Kalyani nagar. But from last one month I am getting problem in connecting to GPRS/EDGE

I too noticed improvement in signal strength at home. But still problem @ office in Kalyani Nagar. Serious drop in signal strength. Voice quality is little improved but still not good. Some how I am happy with TATA Docomo offers [sabse Bol & 5p/6Sec offer] which I feel cheaper than Reliance and its good voice quality.

Does it worked in Mumbai? If not , there is a problem with your recharge. If it is worked, please check the Network. In roaming some time it will use other networks. Set network manually and chose Docomo or 405030 network for Gujarat. if you use voice or data over other networks, you will be charged heavily. Just check the network. Whether it is IDEA or some thing else or Docomo.When Docomo network is not available, it will switch to Idea . Then it will be charged heavily. Yes I too noticed it but it is highly fluctuating. Signal strength showing 5 bars, when I try to make a call , signals bars come 1 bar 0r no signal. You can notice the fluctuating caller tune too when you call to any RGSM number in Pune. Try from Landline too . But seems to be that they are working on our multiple feedbacks.
