yes, it'll NEVER work. MIDI=Musical Instruments Digital interface. in this format, no audio data is stored. theres'a chip containing a wavetable, which Synthesizes the sound. in a midi file, the sound is stored as X instrument corresponding to the wavetable in the chip, and the duration of the note. since human voice cannot be reproduced by a wavetable, so, it's impossible..

hey mitian, since u say that it gives an error every time, just keep in mind that usuall u have to try 2 times to access the filesystem. The first time it always gives an error 'Device needs attention'

well, hopefully a VPN network should be possible if u are to first connect to the net and then hook up a connection. But be warned, reliance do not allow your phone to call any other server numbers except #777 from their phones, over the data carriers. i.e they do not provide data services to any other servers other than their own.

hmmm, thinking of it.... ... ... ... ....... even i have got shocks many times while playing around the phone while it was kept for charging... one sure way to get a shock (on RD2030) is to press the 4-way key in any direction and also touch the CALL or END button at the same time... while the phone is still charging...

well, there's a simple soln to this 'reserve power' thingy.. if u really COULD re-charge the battery by a few simple keystrokes.. y would Samsung users EVER have to put their batteries in the re-charger, never re-charge , just type out those numbers and volia.. the phone is ready for use for the next X hours!! we'll all be having the greatest breakthrough in Physics after Einsteins mass-energy equation!!

yeh, something similar used to happen to my phone. it seems that it's a battery problem. even though the phone shows full -battery signal, the battery is not fully charged, infact , it might be totally empty!! so what i did was that i recharged the battery (after cleaning its contacts) without the phone. since then my phone's working fine!

yeah! who ever heard of something so ridiculous such as recharging a battery just be typing a few numbers on the keypad.!! if that would've been true, we would be enjoying unlimited power in all our UPS'es Inverters etc... btw, ever heard of the theory of conservation of mass and energy??
