no, infact after that accident i made a coil over a ferrite core around 4 mm dia. and having 120 turns. i had attached a capacitor of 800uF... charged up the device using a 9v battery and discharged while the coil toughed the battery of my phone. it hung real nice... had to remove the battery and put it back again to re-start the phone...good that nothing fried up... (This Experiment Was On A Nokia 3310 Phone {GSM})

What You Have Seen Is That The Port Buffer On the PC is Already Filled With Incoming Data Which Is Slowly Accessed By The PC So The Clock Keeps On Ticking... If You Go On You'll See That It'll Be Disconnected After The Buffer Is Empty.. There's No Way That Reliance Can Charge You If the Phone Is Turned Off!!

well, thats an out of the way question... at least under this thread, Because the commands if used improperly *can* ruin the phone permanantly. But as u say u want something temporary... right... yeah its possible alrite but not with commands u'll have to employ something called as an EMP. (Electromagnetic Pulse).It Can Surely DESTROY the Phone.. but an EMP of a very accurately measured duration and intensity will cause the phone to hangup. I discovered this when i had the Phone in my hand and switched on the Television.

try reducing the number of instruments in the midi... it'll make the ringtone smaller but will loose out on quality.

hey floyd remove the usb root hub and usb universal host controller...from system properties. then restart the pc ... the usb root hub and usb universal host will be detected again and then restart the pc... it may work...

then most probably your computer's usb port is blown... check if other devices work on your computers USB port.

I Cant Really Say Much On This Subject Since I Have Not programmed for the MSM5105 chip. But I Doubt That The Chip Contains The Required De-Modulating Oscillators Or Oscillator Circuits Needed For Demodulation Of FM. Even Looks As If The CDMA Antinna Wont Be Able To Recieve The (Comparitevely) Low Frequency Of 108MHz Since CDMA Works At Around 400 Mhz. Please Post (Here) Any Info You Get On The Topic. Not A Bad Idea Though!!

yeah that's exactly what i'm saying ... u'll not find a single evrc codec (for downloading) on the net. Since It's Qualcomm Propritery Codec Just As The QCELP. If We Need A Codec We'll Have To Buy It ... Moreover THey Are Not Cheap... Only Large Cos. Can Bear Such Costs.......

yeah... it supports audio.. but its compressed using a special codec... also .. the headers of the video and audio files are stored in some other file..(cant rem the name right now). You right about the part that the phone can connect to other phones... but as yet.. reliance does not support data communication with other phones... so theres no way that you can play games without connecting to the net... btw.. if ur friend has a landline or non-rel phone... try telling him to call up.... :

yeah.. i just once saw a nokia phone(rel) so cant say much... but it seems that nokia phones DO NOT support polyphonic ringtones and streaming video clips. and since reliance only offers poly ringtones at r-world ... that menu is not available to nokia phones.

well, it's impossible to replace those built in ringtones... alteast directly from the PC. and yes files larger than 4kb can be uploaded, but they need to be correctly hex edited, the first filesize descriptor (2 bytes) must be set to 00 00 or FF FF. i've tried u/l files around 4.5kb they work, but not files larger than those.
