  1. Dear Friends,

    I am having LG RD6600, residing at Ahmedabad. I have the same problem with keypad, it already loosen. my one yr.warranty period just expired. Do the LG Service centre help me ????

    a)I am very much unsatisfied with Mirror-Finish of LG RD6600, it is quite trouble viewing screen in Sun Light, is there any way out. Here some of friend has informed that Reliance Info. has insisted LG to make this handset with mirror finishing screen. Is there any way out to solve this problem ???

    B) Is it sure that, this hand set accepts 2 GB memory card and working fine with the same. ??

    c) What is better advisable to transfer data , card reader or data cable ???

    Where should i get the same ?

    I have following queries reg. LTV plan.

    1. I recd. a sms for e-recharge with 125 to get lifetime validity, and i did it within time given to me. where i got intimation that my validity is upto 20/07/2017. WHEREAS ON Reliance web site lifetime validity period mentioned is July-2021. or upto their licence period.

    Does they ask me to recharge again after 20/07/2017 ...........?

    I have sent n-number of e-mails to cust.care / noddle officer and serv.assu.cell of reliance. BUT none of them is replying me.

    2. As of today I have Rs.1000/- balance, Does i need to make recharge of Rs.200/- in every six month ???????

    At one of Reliance web world in A'hmedabad had told me that i need not make recharge with Rs.200/-for every 6 months.(though i am not convinced with this) and Cust.Care is not replying me in black & white (hard copy)

    i m using one lifetime prepaid connection under the 995 thing... have never recharged and its still on! i remember when i had recharged with 995, they had told me that one transaction is necessary every six months..

    Here Transaction = Recharge OR Outgoing Call/SMS OR Incoming Call!

    and i have incoming calls daily:) ;);)

    I am ready to support you if we want to take up this matter seriously with Reliance & Consumer court.......etc....

    IT is really very difficult to attend the phone/see the display while we are on the move/Road......

    But, due to this feature, in Full Sun light , it is very difficult to see the screen of mobile.............. do u have any idea to sort out this problem.....?

    LG 6600 is the best phone, have been using it since May, and have enjoyed it.

    The best part is its look the steel mirror finish makes it look really classy.

    and better than Samsung Max in every matter.

    This is no where said in the manuals or on the websites of both LG and Reliance.

    Does this so called feature serve any purpose....

  6. Yes, I has also got tremendous response from Chairman's office (Mr.Mukesh Ambani) while he was CM of R.Comm. and my problem was resolved within 24 hours. NOW picture has totally changed. They believe to make Fool the customer

    This is what I wrote to them and I got my entire money back, only thing is that you have to be persistent and create a ruckus at their Web World and their senior managers will come running-

    Reg : A Very Unscrupulous Racket being run by your Company

    Dear Sir,

    We have got the following 23 Connections with your Company which we have converted into Prepaid from Post paid in the Month of February’08 whose numbers are as follows:

    Now since the time we have converted it into Prepaid we have come to realise that your company is running a very unauthorized and deep running racket to fleece the Customer and cheating the customer to part with its money without its own knowledge. Many of our aforesaid connections started receiving calls and messages from some so called Noida Number beginning with 0120 to become members of various Value Added services and SMS schemes even though all of us were registered with the National Do Not Disturb Registry, which in itself is an aberration on your part. Then without approving any such services from our part, some of our numbers e.g. one of them being xxxxxxxxxx started receiving Incoming Messages of absolutely useless nature at the rate of 5-10 per day for which 1 Re. each, was deducted in their accounts, without their prior approval. And it was the limit when on my phone number, I received a call enquiring my balance and subsequently asking me to subscribe to such services, and even after my specific refusal and asking them not to call again, approximately Rs. 100 was deducted from my account between 8th and 9th of Mar’08, totally without my consent. On enquiring from your webworld today I was told that some 99 Rs. Pack had been enabled on my handset, and that too without MY APPROVAL.

    On going through all these events it seems that some very high level Unscrupulous Racket to Cheat the Customer is being run in your company. As I came and made a huge hue and cry at your Web World, you were kind enough to come personally and refund back Rs. 86/- (still Rs. 13 short) into my account. But what about Millions of other Customers who you must be fleecing and who have got no say. THIS IS A VERY UNETHICAL PRACTICE GOING ON, ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY, WHICH SHOULD STOP IMMEDIATELY, ELSE WE WOULD BE FORCED TO FORWARD THIS COMPLAINT TO T.R.A.I., The Relevant Redressal Authorities and the MEDIA.

    You are also directed to kindly stop all such PAID INCOMING MESSAGES, Rs. 99/- VAS SERVICES, CRANK SMS from 51234, 51234001, 09880880808 etc. and all such tele marketing numbers and also re-register to all our these 23 numbers in the DO NOT DISTURB Registry, and also refund all such short amounts/illegal amounts that you have charged from us.

    We hope you will take this letter most seriously. Awaiting your immediate reply in this matter.

    Its like a can of worms opening up.

    Also what other members said is correct.. they do not like replying in writing.

    During M Ambani's days, they used to have on their website 'contact - chairmans' office' where response was amazingly..

    This shortly discontinued after A Ambani took over..


  7. Do you or any one have idea about the validity of RCV 888 pack.

    As i remember, in last december-07 ,i got activated this pack, 888 mein 888 ka off-net (full) talk time with one year validity.

    in 888, u get a talktime of rs.1000

    break up is as follows:

    main account: 790

    promo bal: 210 (any calls) validity: 15 days

    79 jaadu pack free: means call rates 50p local, 1re std.

    and any roaming call (incoming/outgoing/std) @ 1re

    (for 30 days)


  8. @ Ritesh, I think Late receipt of SMS is due to traffic congestion at Service Provider's side, It doesnt relates with model of handset. and with reliance it is not a news item. it happens oftenly.

    What's micro USB charger? motorazr one? that's a nice addition.

    Maine 30-Apr-08 ko LG 6100 liya tha.

    Lekin is mobile me SMS incoming bahot late ho raha hai. Maine LG k Service Centre me Sofware bhi Upgrade karva aur Reliance k Customer care me bhi complain ki hai, liya lekin uske bad bhi koi fayda nahi hua hai.

    Pls help me for this.

  10. Aiming at further mobile penetration in the country, Anil Ambani's Reliance Communications is gearing up to launch a 'lifetime' connection offer for Rs 199 against the company's current charges of Rs 649, the lowest from any service provider in the country.

    The soon-to-be-launched service would enable subscribers to make a call at 99 paise per minute to others, SP Shukla, president ( wireless), Reliance Communications, told PTI.

    Reliance Communications, which has a subscriber base of 41 million as on December 31, 2007, hopes to add a "significant" number of subscribers to its fold with this offer.

    "Going forward, we hope to have more than half of our customers under the lifetime fold," Shukla said, adding that this offer would also help the company to significantly increase its topline.

    The offer would not have any linkage with handsets and subscribers can use any handset to avail the offer, he said.

    Life time --thts ok, but till how many years from 5/2/2008 on which it is officially declared by Rcom in Guj.


  11. Are these call rates with respect to some special prepaid or its applicable to any or all prepaid...???

    Also is it for specific circle...???

    This is applicable to All India Level, For Rcom's Local (within circle) out going charges will be 0.99 p/m mobile to mobile[any] and mobile to land line[any]. , where earlier rates were from Freedom plan.

    Dear ANI_Maher : why dont u raise the complaint thru e-mail,so they will think twice to reply you anything. (not by call)(this is for not repeating the same to any other)

    If u didnt recd. any sms,However you can Ask to Reliance Web world, for that, and on confirmation from them u can opt for it. I enquired for it at various CC (ahmedabad and Bmy) All are giving diff.diff. replies. IT is bit confusing too. Hwever u can take risk of Rs.200/- such small amt. bcoz something will come atleast.

    what is the eligibility

    Your number should be de-activated for long time (defination of long time is differs with circle to circle)
