Ne1 tried using different handsets? It would be great if u can use handsets other than those provided by reliance. I got a sony z520a unlocked a month back.. currently using it as gsm phone, can I use it as rim?

I dont think EVDO will be out soon. Acc to me, reliance will continue to giv more imp to rural penetration. EVDO will take atleast a year i think.

I have seen that we can recieve SMS which are 160 char from GSM on 5130. It's simply (and unfortunately) that the length checker doesn't allow U to forward or create a mesage beyond 140 characters. Another downside for SMSer is that the ¶ (carriage return) is missing from the symbols option so U can't create multi screen SMS. 16444[/snapback] Yea.. most of the sms I receive are 160 char long..whenever I try to fwd these sms, only half the sms comes on the screen. Then I need to shorten it and then send.... such a pain in the neck!

could ne1 pl tell me whether just viewing n downloading an mms sent by another user charge me nething? I havent been sending ne new wallpapers or ringtones becoz of fear of being charged for accessing mms.

At relianceinfo.com , they say u will be charged Rs 3 for sending mms. Will i be charged to only access mms (like downloading the ringtone or wallpaper sent by me through smtp by email).

Does any one know how much rim guys charge for downloading ringtone from the exclusive section in Ringtones? And why is eclusive section available only on RD2030.. I hav RD 5130 also, but i dont hav this option on 5130.

Hey Cumohit, Even i hav an LG 5130. It sure does get heated when i keep it for charging.. but the smelling thing used to happen when i had just bought the handset. nowadays I dont hav that prob. But still, you'd better ask the ww guys if your prob persists

The busy icon comes if u have more than 1 mms simultaneously in inbox.. try sending one at a time. then u can open mms
