    I am using now LG6130. but i am planning to buy new NOKIA handset. i found to new sets named 6225 and 6255. AS i i heard the 6255 have R world and MMs Facility, but i donot know anything about 6225. Mainly i want FM, infrared or bluetooth and camera.please suggest me which is best and what is the cost for both of this handset?

    I am using this handset 6130 since dec3,2005, earlier i transfered MMS froms gmail and rediff, but after april it stopped then i came to know about the Portal after that i am ransfering MMS wallpaper and ringtone since now but i donot know reliance persons charging for DAPO customer.

    Now i am planning to but Nokia 6225, can anyone tell me about this handset and the cost in delhi?

    Yes Nokia 6255 Does support Jabra BlueTooth Head Set.

      I have 2 Nokia HS-4W BlueTooth Headset and they work great with 6255. If anybody is interested I am ready to sell one for Rs. 3200. It's brand new.

    Reliance India Mobile will be converting the mobile numbers of its Mumbai subscribers from the existing 8-digit to a 10-digit system around the end of October. The conversion of numbers of all the subscribers across the country to the 10-digit numbering plan will be completed by mid-November.

    The company is converting the existing 8-digit numbers to the mobile standard of a 10-digit numbering system, beginning with 9, in a phased manner across the various circles.

    So far, the new numbering system has been implemented across five circles, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Kerala, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh.

    The company is starting the number change process in Tamil Nadu and Chennai from tomorrow. It takes 3-4 days on an average to change the number of all the subscribers in any circle. “We have a subscriber base of 80 lakh across the country.

    People will no longer be charged a higher interconnect charge for calls to Reliance mobile phones.

    Until now, some cellular operators like Hutch were levying a higher charge of 50 paise per minute for calls made from mobile phones to Reliance phones since their numbering system did not recognise the `non-9’ numbers as mobile phones.

    For consumers, the advantage is that people calling them do not have to dial the prefix the city code anymore.

    Also, for calls within the circle, say between Nagpur to Pune, an STD facility was required earlier although these calls were charged at the same rate as local calls. Now, customers can call directly without the STD facility.

    The change to a new numbering system has been long delayed over the issue of change in points of interconnection (PoIs).

    As a mobile operator, Reliance Info has to now have a connectivity at the LDCA (long distance charging area) level as compared to the SDCA (short distance charging area) level connectivity enjoyed by fixed-line operators.

    After the conversion, Reliance numbers will start with `93’ instead of the `3’ that they start with now.

    This will be followed by a 3-digit MSC code that varies from circle to circle. The last 5 digits, in most cases, will be the same as the last 5 digits of the existing number.

    Post-paid subscribers are being given a choice to choose a new number if they so wish. Those with premium numbers would have a choice in choosing the new premium numbers.

    Reliance Info will be using several mediums to convey the new numbers to their subscribers such as SMS, letters, R-World outlets, besides others.

    Also, for a period of one month, both the old and the new numbers will remain active.

    Hi

    i bought this lg software from local dealer and only desktop lite is working with my cell but whenever i try to connect the LG link started it is saying that check the connection. can anyone helpme how to rectify this problem?

    Hello everybody

    MMS from internet to reliance is stopped and they delivering only reliance to reliance phones and they stopped the net facility i asked the customer service (*333) they donot know anything about this. what funny answer is this.

    Is anyone know about this?

    What waste after spending 7oo to buy handset and they charged MMS and even not delivering it.

    SMS can be sent to reliance mobile phones using the format 91+mobilenumber@ri.irisme.net .But the email has to be sent as an email message from a mobile phone. The message will not be delivered if it is sent from a normal email account.

    Hi

    you all know for the last 20 days messages from reliance to other number including reliance isnotgoing? When called to customer service they are saying they are rectipying the problem and it will done on two days but it take 29 days. And the final news is on 28 feb. Is anyone know when it be o.k?

    Dont you be tensed guys. You are typing the number in wrong format. Try this. Type your number as follows.

    093XXXXXXXX@mms.ricmail.com

    Dont start your numbers with 91 caus on reliance server your email ID starts with your number preceding with 0.

    Do let me know if any problem.

    Its true pictures are not coming on +91931......... but ringtone are coming.

    even as suggested by you 0931.......... is also not working.

    My LG sync is also not working as i spoken to LG customer they are saying you have to activate your phone as Modem then only u can access the pc sync. Is it correct? Is anyone using both desktop lite and pc sync correctly?

    Ok, can someone now prepare a easy step by step guide to using this? Coz a person like me, wouldn't like to lose his 250 contacts for something tht i can wrong with.. pls...

    im sure chirag have found the answers for that

    i hope this will be of use to other ppl

    i got my cable only day before yesterday and got it working only yesterday

    anyway here is something...

    if you want to back up ur phone book first

    use bitpim... and open the file system

    click on pim

    you will see phonebook.dat

    save it to your hard disk

    now when u use lg desktop

    click on synchronization ----- synchronization configuration--------conflict resolution tab---- select the first one namely overwrite PIM record with phone data.

    now u can try tinkering with your phone...

    i hope i have not made any mistakes.

    so wait till other moderators like chirag or ashok confirm what i have told you before you act on it...

    I am sundar. I got this LG 6130 set lastweek.and i purchased the USB port and sownloaded the pc sync from LGmobile but sometimes only deaktop lite is working and lG link is not working and i am trying to find out the software bitpim software but i am unable to find out that one also. Can u help me to solve my problem.

    Iam a newbie to this site and bought a RD 6130. I got the software from bazee along with the cable and everything is including rconnect is working fine excpet for the LG Link feature which I believe is capable of storing MMS and SMS on the PC.

    The only feature that seems to be working is the image section of the software which allows to download images shot using 6130. The help file shows that it supports avatar, MMS and SMS. Does anyone have a clue as to how these can be enabled. I had also tried using the software download from http://lgmobiles.com for the RD 6130

    Hi

    I purchased this 6130 just three days before. I am learning about the futures from this site only and my special thanks to all of you. I installed the software from LG and purcased the USB port when i connect the phone to synchorise it transfers data from mobile to Pc but i am reading message from rimweb members that i can transfer MMS and other things to pc but i donot know how. Can anyone tell me how to transfer and what to do?
