My friend is in US, and I am planning to get a few books and a bike jacket delievered. The cost of USPS delivery for upto 20 pounds ie 9.1 kgs is $35. But will I have to pay any duty here in India, or will it reach my doorestep by itself? will i have to go to the customs for that? there is no electrical item, and i don't intend to sell anything. I am on the lookout for something that is very portable, and has a horizontal keyboard like PPC 6700. I don't need the phone functionality in that. What should I go for? the horizontal keyboard is a must. It should be able to open word files, (if excel files too ,then great), and wi-fi connectivity. Any pda for this? This thing Sony Clie PEG-UX50 was extremely perfect for me, but it is a closed model. Any such gadget available? budget is around 10k odd.

Sorry for bumping this topic. I want a phone for taking notes. Even just txt, if not ms word. Can 9800 take notes, or is it limited in size? The main focus of me buying a phone is to have a horizontal keyboard with qwerty and taking notes. PPC 6700 is bit too fragile for my rough use. I think 9800 seems good, but is the notes function there?

Except expandable memory, 2865 fits in your bill. In reliance, if the phone has expandable memory, then it will have less battery life. sad but true.

Actually this is how it is showing me the list for quite some period now. Whenever i press 'view new posts', it just arranges all the posts based on their last edit times, n i see the top few ones which i haven't seen before. I usually get all the posts listed before me.
