^^^ if only i get some alternative for the .15ps for on net terrif, even i'll be glad to join u!
  2. Motorola Want To Rock Cdma

ya, i guess u r right. no matter what happens, exorbant billing, unexplained cutting of prepaid balance, unasked enabling of caller tunes, dudcting arbirary amount for R World, n all that stuff, we should not complain because what the company did in past. also, .Please elaborate this 'respond in time' phrase, n 'in time' means what? many members here (including myself) seem to be not smart enough to respond in time for the countless problems, and thus got their money n time wasted rightfully. no one is denying reliance the credits they deserve, mainly making the cell phone within the reach of common man. but that doesn't give them any right to do anything with no shame what so ever. n by the way, i m no employee of rim or any other cellular, so i m not bound to only praise or shame reliance. i m a customer, who will applaud when something good has happened (hmm, when was the last time RIM gave me chance for this?! ), and will cry out loud against any foul practise. so returning to the topic of motorokr (n NOT discussing operating of RIM), i still say, for getting rokr on reliance soon, u will require insane amount of luck.
  3. Motorola Want To Rock Cdma

bhidu, sasta deneka iska matlab ye nahi ke lutneka... aur aapun gang kya kal parso reliance join nahi kiya, ke kuchh bhi bakte jao. if u r new to reliance, then wait till u get ur share of experience. if u r an old user, then say thaks to ur good luck, n pray that remains so till u get ur first taste of reliance treatment.
  4. Motorola Want To Rock Cdma

^^^ ya, reliance will launch it in 2009 for 15/20k when all r having rokr8 or rokr9. it's reliance man, don't keep ur hopes too high.
  5. Rconnect Via Infrared

I don't know whether it is possible, but i really don't think it is worth. Because u have to maintain the exact pinpointing of the IR ports, without any interference. also, the speeds would be very slow, due to inherent speed limit of IR.
  6. Invites Thread

^^^ i am sending u an invite here only, to complete ur 50 posts first!
  7. Motorola Want To Rock Cdma

    +1 For N6275.
  8. All About Nokia 6265

Answer is NO for all questions. U can't do any of the above.
  9. Classic 231

^^^ The name is Classic 231. who else can be the manufacturer? in case u don't know, the name of manufacturer is 'Classic'.
  10. Lg Announces Chocolate Card Phone Ke820

looks good, but bit weird. see how the number key n nevigation key r mixed! should be a good shiner phone, like the chocolate phone. the chocolate phone, though not shining in features, just eats all handsets with sheer presence. but investing>10k in LG??? seems very far stretched atleast for me.
  11. Invites Thread

I have DT. Thanks for the offer. anyways, bit disoriented since demonoid is mostly closed now.

  13. Digital Cameras... Everything Under The Sun.

DivX is a technology to encode video efficiently than regular codecs. For example, if u see audio CDs, there are hardly 20 songs on that, but on a mp3 cd, u can have 200-250 songs of around same quality. like u use winzip to compress the files. similarly, DivX is a compression for videos. When the video is encoded using regular technology, it takes much big space. eg see the VCDs, around 40-50 mins r there on VCD, that too of low resolution. But if u see DivX movies, they fit 2-2.5 hrs of movie in the same place, that too of high resolution, ie 640x480 or more. The video limitation means the max it can record, maybe because of the space constraint, maybe because of the processing speed of the camera. If you buy a regular camera with no DivX, then it's better to sacrifice the movie function alltogether, as it is more or less useless (takes too much place that could be used for many photographs instead). But if the recording is in MP4 ie DivX format, u can have plenty of videos as well as pictures, without sacrificing quality of any.
  14. Digital Cameras... Everything Under The Sun.

less capacity of video recording IS going to be a problem. once u get the hang of video, u'll want to record most of the moments in video than just picture. my experience is, memories r preserved way better in videos than in photos. so if this is going to be a casual use camera, i'd urge u to rethink on basis of the video recording capacity. For comparison, a DivX cam can record 640x480 30FPS movie for ~38 mins, 640x480 15FPS movie for ~1 hr 15 mins, n (forgot the resolution, but i guess 340 something) 30FPS for ~1hr 50mins on a 512mb card. Other types of video recording don't even stand close to such capacity. again, it depends on u only.
  15. Digital Cameras... Everything Under The Sun.

^^^ the battery point is very valid. My digicam is having a cell phone like battery (forgot the name), that can be charged from USB. but main glich is, i get stuck where there is no electricity (like on trekking etc). in those cases, i really have to plan the cam usage, in order to not to run out of battery. in case of AA batteries, u can always carry a stock with u.
  16. Digital Cameras... Everything Under The Sun.

^^^ i won't comment on the image quality. but u have to make a decision whether u r willing to sacrifice the portability for clarity? it's not that compact cameras don't take good pictures n all. i have a portable camera, n it goes with me virtually everywhere when i m on a trip. i even keep it in jacket's pocket when i m riding my bike for long distance. a DSLR, no matter how compact, will not give u such leisure. If I'd be in ur place, i'd have gone for portability than bit more clarity. also, if u r hunting for cameras, have a look at those cams who can record in MP4 ie DIVX format. the movies will be small in size n good in clarity. i think amongst the branded ones, samsung has such model. others also might have, but no idea.
  17. New Lg 6250! Launched.

OT: About charging point, same thing happened to my friend's mobile lg2300 of something in that series. LG ppl said it would cost around 600! when we opened the phone ourself, we found the charging point was just moved back a bit. so after pushing it again to the front, the problem was solved. ok, let's get back to the topic.

    does anyone have DCtorrents invite?
  19. New Lg 6250! Launched.

Quality of the handset is not bad, it is quite comparable to Nokia. Service center way better than Nokias. Battery life depends on the battery rating, so if this cell is having battery > 1000 mAh, then u can be sure about good battery life. Only thing that haunts LG is poor resale price. Price of LG 6130 after 1.5 yrs became 2k from buying price of 6k. This should tell u something.
  20. New Nokia 2865 Cdma

v3i does so, so i believe even v3m should be able to do that.
  21. Breaking News

Is this true??? if yes, then really a shame. can TRAI authorize such charges?
  22. Firmware Upgrade

u can't manually install the upgrade. u'll have to go to the lg service station for that. AFAIK the firmwares are not available on net.
  23. Lg 3470

^^^ it's the battery rating, the colors r just for displaying. i am sure u know that, but still writing it for info. the batery rating in 3470 is 1000 or 1100 mAh, whereas in other cells, it is 700 or 800 mAh, that's why the huge jump in battery backup.
  24. New Hot Nokia Cdma

wat's the use of camera with just 2 mb memory??? just a shiner phone, nothing else. and that is too thick. should be good around 5k max 6k. actually 6k is also too high, as 2865 is available around 6400 or less.
  25. Hand Set

Don't go for classic, if LG is in ur budget. hunt or wait for some days for the 3470. the reviews so far suggest that it has a great battery life.
