I noticed that quite a few market threads are open even after the OP posted 'Pls close the thread'. I agree the mods may not have enough time to go through each and every post to see whether to close the thread, but atleast in Market subforum, is it possible to enable the thread starter to close the thread, rather that a mod doing it? It will reduce the work load off the mods.

I lost a LG3500, and am looking to replace it. Already have a 755p, and love its call recording capability. Any handset having this facility within 5k range? Otherwise, any mobile having 3.5mm audio jack under 5k, except that motorola one?

I am going to Rajasthan on bike this weekend (travelling by train, and then loading bike off and riding). I bought clutch and accelerator cables required for the bike, but while servicing the bike, I put them aside, and like a fool, forgot to bring them with me in Mumbai! Now the situation is, I have 6.50pm train to catch tomorrow from Mumbai Central, and the cables are in Pune. If anyone is travelling from Pune to Mumbai today or by tomorrow afternoon and willing to help, please reply here so that I can contact the Pune guys immediately and deliver the cables to your place. Else, I'll have to ship the cables by courier, and since it involves timing, I want to avoid it if possible. There are 3 cables in total, they will be in a plastic bag and hardly weigh 250gm/500gm. Please help a fellow rider! Mods, you can close this topic tomorrow afternoon, as there will be no need anymore.

I agree to keep the investment seperate from insurance. Investment is something you enjoy afterwards, insurance is something your survivors enjoy after you! I have noticed religare has the cheapest term insurance premium.

My personal thinking is, it depends on your age. Unlike normal insurance where your premium remains constant for all the term, in health insurance it keeps on increasing. So I think if you are in your 30's, and are healthy (i.e. work in decent area and have no harmful habit), the probability of getting a big disease is very very low. However, if you are travelling a lot, you should get accident insurance, available at very cheap price. As age crosses 40-45, even you take care, some diseases may crawl over, and then you can take any suitable health insurance. Again, search the website extensively, and never rely on the agent's words.

This is why I like reliance simple recharges. I know I am constantly being charged 50p a minute, 1rs for 3 mins or 1p per second, and not have to care how much am i getting charged now based on duration of call, time of the day, position of stars and color of underpants at the time of call!

There is a difference between illegal and unethical. Illegal is something defined by others, unethical is defined by ourselves. Not using other phones other than those 'blessed' by reliance is legally true, but many of us deem it stupid, and hence break it happily. On the other hand, gawking at beautiful girl after your marriage/commitment to other is certainly not illegal, but its highly unethical to me Same with helmet law, wearing a helmet is legally required, and riding sanely and keeping alert is ethically required! This case comes under both!

I remember when I wasted 2-3 DVDs, then I realized you should select 'write DVD' and not 'Write CD' option. Don't remember where exactly it is located, but I think that's the case. Nero is writing it as a CD and hence can't close it properly. Select DVD and you should be good to go. EDIT: Oops, sorry didn't see you already tried that! Try some different software for DVD writing if Nero is problematic.

Best way is to think you donated 10 bucks to someone. You can fight and get them back, but it will be such a long process and hessle, I'd say save the energy!

Phone feature are good, with 3.5mm audio jack, bluetooth, 2mp cam, large battery. However I didn't get the '2.1 ch (woofer) speaker' thing. How can that be fitted in a mobile?! Any info on the cost? Will surely be above 5k, I guess.

LOL, really?! You could just search RIMWEB for the answer! I did the same when my LG3500 was stuck on speakerphone mode. (means searched RIMweb, not reset the phone).
