cool man. I am waiting for your review as I am saving money to purchase this handset.
  2. Spice CDMA-C Series & C-810

Pic look good. I have not seen any other 1.3 MP camera which can give better quality than this.
  3. Samsung Raaga

Last week, I purchased "SAMSUNG Raaga" worth 1700/- + 37/- for my Debit-Card charges . Here is my small review of 4 days use. I am comparing it to 1000/- of ZTE C335, which I am using over last 2 months: SIGNAL STRENGTH: Signal strength is not good. Signal goes up and down sometimes and when it happens, it frustrates you a lot because it frequently does this in a short span of time. You will really get annoyed of signal problems. My ZTE C335 never ever had any signal problem at all. BATTERY: Talk time is 3 hours straight from full to dead battery. It takes 2 hours to charge the battery fully. Better than ZTE C335 in this case, which stands for 1.5 hours only. BUTTONS: Buttons are soft but the "cancel" button, the one we use to go back one place from a menu setting is really kind of weired. I mean, it is so small that you mistakenly press some other button while pressing it. 2nd, the arrow keys, the ones with 4 directions are not good looking and are harder to press. SCREEN & SHAPE: Screen size is larger than ZTE. I was very fond of screen size and wanted it as big as possible but after using a big screen on both LG RD3600 and Samsung Raaga and small size screen of ZTE C335, I think screen is not much of a big deal as of comfort and features. Regarding comfort, when you type an SMS you hands will get tired. Its because of the phone's shape, it is so designed that the place to make you feel comfortable have been given to the screen. You tired very soon and very fast while typing. USER-INTERFACE & FEATURES: NO profiles, if you want to go to vibration mode, go to MENU -> SETTINGS -> SOUNDS -> RINGER TYPE -> VOICE CALLS -> TYPE and change the ringer type there. There are no profiles. There is a shortcut to go to silent mode, which I found to be vibration mode actually but the icons appear on the top for vibrate mode and silent mode are different. Don't know why. I go from office (lower volume ring tone) to main road(vibrate mode) and then to my home(full ring mode) and then back to my office (lower volume ring tone) and I do this 2 times a day, one for lunch and other when office is closed. Hence I am getting into a lots of difficulty to go to 6 clicks to change the ring tone. I don't think with this problem I am going to use it for long . Unlike ZTE C335, phone is not slow, it responds very fast to the key strokes. HEADSET: yes, I bought this mobile only because of this feature alone. Headset is PAINFUL, purely painful . The shape and size of the ear-plug does not fit very well into the ear causing ear to pain withing 1 min of the time when you fit it. If you buy this handset then purchase an extra, comfortable and good quality pair of headset. 2nd, headset and phone, both are mono. Even if you buy a headset with 2 ear plugs of stereo sound capability, you may not hear the sound in your 2nd ear plug because handset outputs mono sound, not stereo (that is from the "phone manual" itself) ALARM: If you switch off the mobile then it won't alarm. ZTE was good in this case, you set the alarm, turn off the phone, because you don't like to get disturbed at 3 AM, and then go to sleep, ZTE will turn on itself when the alarm time comes . I will switch back to ZTE, the problems it has are much better than than the problems I have with Raaga.
  4. Chinese Cdmas

Hey guys, I see lots of cheap Chinese DUAL SIM handsets available in the market. I am not talking about them. I am talking about only Chinese CDMAs . Do you have any list ?
  5. Haier C3000 Or C3010

Hi, My friend has limited budget of 1000/- only. I, myself, have experienced the ZTE , so I don't recommend buying it. I read somewhere on this forum that Haier is good than other Chinese companies. He is getting both c3000 and c3010 at the same price of Rs. 1000/- what you people advise ?
  6. Haier C3000 Or C3010

This seems like the exact description of ZTE C335 that I have
  7. Spice CDMA-C Series & C-810

Why you want to watch a movie on mobile, no matter how big screen is. This is what TVs and Theaters are for
  8. Bluetooth And Virus

Hi all, I want to buy a mobile with Bluetooth facility because I talk with my friend a lot and hence can not keep the mobile to ear for hours and bad thing is that my one hand always remains busy with the mobile and hence can not do anything. I want to purchase a Bluetooth mobile and with that I can just keep the mobile on shelf while talking to my friend and can do anything with my free-hands ( no, I am not thinking of masturbating ) . or will keep the mobile in my pocket while walking or standing in some public place. but I have heard that Bluetooth attracts lots of viruses and they will automatically com in to my mobile if someone has infected mobile with Bluetooth on and most people almost always , unknowingly keep Bluetooth on. I do not want to spend 6500/- and then get infected What you people say or advise ?
  9. Hey guys, I want to use Reliance LG RD3600 on TATA Indicom. Right now when I put the T-SIM into it, it switches on but it asks me to contact Reliance Customer Care Is there any way I can unlock it to use with TATA ?
  10. Lightweight Color Phone.

So I can go buy Hair c3000 for my Reliance RUIM without any risk ? Aha.. I don't mind loosing TATA zone
  11. Samsung Raaga

No one has specifications or the product note even ?
  12. Dual Cdma Sim Handsets

yep, I have a comment for you: We see very few good quality CDMA handsets as compared to the number of cheap and quality GSM handsets. CDMA is never ever going to get further in quality as compared to GSM as CDMA is a patented technology where companies who use CDMA like Relaince ,TATA, SAMSUNG, LG etc. have to pay royalties to Qualcomm without getting any permission to do R&D. No R&D, no growth
  13. Dual Cdma Sim Handsets

I thought this thread was discussion about dual RUIM handsets rather than dual GSM-CDMA handsets
  14. Spice CDMA-C Series & C-810

Seems like this handset has all the things I need: Headset, FM & Good Battery. I heard that it is slower in response at sometimes. If I add the 2 GB flash memory, will it go fast ?
  15. Plz Suggest Between Lg Rd 3000,3500 And 3600

Thanks but my review was not as good as of howlinghonda MY friend has Reliance in Punjab and he says he never got any single problem in last 1 year . One other friend who has got Reliance in New Delhi does get minor problems but mostly he is satisfied. I don't know what Reliance is doing in Hyderabad. My friend here has complained many times from RWW to CC but it seems like no one cares there
  16. Plz Suggest Between Lg Rd 3000,3500 And 3600

okay, let me compare this with my 2 days experience with this handset I can not call to Reliance phones in any way. I mean, calls are getting disconnected after every 10 seconds or 30 seconds. Sometimes when I make a call to my home, which is STD Landline call, I am getting connected to some local number. Local number because people saying hello and asking me, in Telugu, to whom I have called. Very funny. Sometimes when I call to my friends, STD Mobile, then again I am getting connected to somewhere else All of the above problems are not related with this Handset. This is how the Reliance CDMA network operates in Hyderabad. My bad, I wasted money on Reliance. 2 of my friends have Reliance too, one cries all the time and the other one is happy. I just wasted 2100/- on it because I thought I will get lucky but I am not Sound is really excellent. No doubt about it. The volume of Speakerphone is too low. You cannot hear anything at all with it. Headset volume is so LOUD that it will make you deaf. Trust me, it is too loud on full volume. Regarding Display I did not problems with Sunlight but there is no good wallpaper in it and only 2-3 good quality ring-tones. It has bright backlight ( though not brighter than TATA's ZTE C335) Exactly same. Except of one channel, all FM channels sound excellent. Very good reception quality. You can't compare the batter with NOKIA but I have not seen a battery that lasts so longer in such low-end handsets. Its battery is the real value for money. It is 3rd day and I know I need not charge it for next 2 days, unless I talk to my friends for 2 hours and 2 hours on FM. I got it for 1750/- from Reliance Web World + 200 for connection = 2050/- your review as great. Its only because of your reviews I purchased this handset. But my bad luck, Reliance's service is totally poor. TATA Indicom is much better here in Hyderabad than Relaince.
  17. Samsung Champ From Tata Indicom

Hey brother, its been 4-5 months you are using Samsung Champ. I want to buy Camp FM. Can you share your experience with us before I spend my hard-earned money
  18. Plz Suggest Between Lg Rd 3000,3500 And 3600

O... My dear friend , you are quite right
  19. I heard that Reliance has stopped selling Black and White mobiles. Is it true ? I checked SAMSUNG website and see there is no price mentioned for B&W sets while all other colored sets have their prices mentioned. So, is it true they stopped creating B&W mobile handsets ?
  20. Can anyone recommend me a list of good quality RUIM handsets. I want to buy one with following features: 1.) Color with polyphonic ring-tones. 2.) Long battery life. 3.) A headset. 2nd, does Reliance insist on purchasing a handset from them and then refuse to give RUIM if I have purchased a set from outside ? I want to use them because then I will not have to buy 2 handsets for 2 operators, I can just switch 2 cards
  21. Please help to choose a cheap handset for Reliance

yes, searching this forum told me the same but I also found that Reliance will replace the mic for free if it is in warranty period. Wanna Try RD3600 ?
  22. Reliance SIM (RUIM) available ?

But can you push any TATA RUIM into Reliance RUIM based handset and make it work ? 2nd, I have ZTE C335 of TATA Indicom which has a TATA RUIM in it. Can I push a Reliance RUIM in it and then live and use it happily ? 3rd, Will Reliance sell you a RUIM without any handset. Won't they say flat NO ?
  23. Ruim Based Handsets Recommendations

okay, I have got one SAMSUNG MAX , Priced 7199/- at SAMSUNG's India web-site. Lets see what others find
  24. Reliance No Longer Sells B&w Phones ?

Can you name some specific quality models (of any brand). Regarding durability and good battery backup I found only one: LG RD3600, RD3000 has mic problems.
