I am just wondering what will be rcom's next year revenue after the change in tarrif of wap browsing

early morning my unbilled usage was showing as Rs.281 and some paise,but now its showing as Rs.135. Looks like Amit Jain is right in saying that rcom has waived off the wap charges or should i say that our petitions and letters are working atleast to the extent of getting our unbilled amount back to normal. Any members here who has observed changes in their unbilled amount ?

Good thing you asked them the year or else they will say it is applicable from 9th July 1999 and charge us for the years when reliance was just planning to enter telecommunication check your unbilled amount in rworld and you will come to know if its free or still better wait for the the bill to come. As quoted in earlier posts do not rely on customer care people,in a way Rcom is doing social service by giving employment to mentally dumb and mentally unsound people to handle customer care.

I called up customer care last night and i was told to wait for my bill to be generated to know the details of the unbilled amount. ^^^ @Prathod My dear friend, hope you will get the waiver after your bill will be generated. I think you have to go by the silly rules of Reliance. First the bill will be generated, then it will be delivered at your place. Then you read it, then you will be shocked after you see that you are charged so much as Wap charges. Then you pickup the phone and dial a call to CC, then you ask them to waive the charges, then they silly CC executives keep you on hold for minimum of 10 minutes, then they come back and ask you that you have to call again as their ISO certified systems would be on updation, then you again have to call them after nearly 1 hour, then they again will keep you on hold for nearly 10 minutes, then they will tell you that you was rightly charged in your bill, then you will not be satisfied with the CC executive's response, then you will ask to transfer the call to their supervisor, then CC executive will tell you that their is no need to transfer the call as supervisor too will tell you the same story, then also you still want to transfer the call to supervisor, then after half an hour your call will be transfered to supervisor, then you have to tell the supervisor the full story again, then the supervisor will keep you on hold for atleast 10 minutes, then he will come back with a good news for you (Jaise Ehsaan Ker Raha Ho), that this time your excess WAP charges will be waived off and give you a warning that next time you would not be lucky again, then you will thank him in lieu and will disconnect the phone and have a big relief from this silly system of Reliance. And THEN, what after that, what will you do ? Please let us know my dear friend. So my dear friends, their are a lot of THENS their in the near future for you all. As you all get your bills, and get the waiver also, keep us updatd too at Rimweb. Regards.

Its a good news that Rcom is giving waiver,but as far as i see my unbilled amount,no amount has been waived for my wap usage. Any members here got a waiver please post it so that we can also ask for a waiver and take their warning seriously

Rs.99/- to Rs.150 is ok for unlimited Browsing,500 is tooo much that will be 20 times more then what we were paying all these days.

Good plan,I will also do the same. Meanwhile can we have a poll on this matter because I dont see many members coming forward to protest,so lets see how many are getting affected by this price hike. It is not minority which is affected, most people i have seen use more VAS than me. They see news, videos and lot many other stuff. People like us use it for work and otrher use it for entertainment. Its indifferent attitude of we Indian. We have assumed right from the begining that nothing is going to change or our protest will not make any difference. Agreed, it may not make any difference, but that does not mean that we surrender to injustice. If we can not protest with flags in hand, we can always disconnect from them. My plan is as follow: 1. I will convert my existing number to Prepaid, that to not life time, minimum possible duration (Why should I give them 1 additional number of subscriber?) 2. Divert all calls to my new number, in case it is not answered (preferably GSM, Airtel and idea seems to be good option,none is as cheap as reliance in voice but I am determined not to surrender) 3. My first two monthly cost will be additional may be 500 bucks (If I keep phone off, else may be much lesser) 4. In the mean time I will inform all incoming calls about new number and send mails to my customers and suppliers. 5. If portability of number comes in between I wll transfer my prepaid too to other operator.

I agree with Kumaarshah,its really shocking to know that we are taken for a ride by increasing the price and that too secretly,and to top it there is no other option its either use it or dont use it,they should have come up with some unlimited scheme or something like that but now they know Indian users are dumb and will take whatever is given to them and pay whatever is charged to them. Now there will be more problem with postpaid users like it is in prepaid where they are charged for rworld access when infact they dont use it, same will be in postpaid bills we will get amounts for data usage when actually we wont use it,and no way of proving that we are not using it.

CC is very slow,but their billing department is fast,any increase in tariff is given to billing thru email and sent to CC thru Indian Post so CC is late to get the news.

Looks like this news is true bcoz my unbilled usage shows an increase of Rs.5,and i remember i did not make a single call on the 9th july.Thanks Amit for informing us or else we would have ended up in paying by our nose. This is nothing but cheating by reliance,atleast they should have informed the customers about the change in tariff of wap. Anil Ambani along with his group of companies is graduating to become a full fledge chor,hope he reads this or his chamchas inform him. ADAG/RCOM thinks that they have kept some treasure on rworld that people only visit them,rworld has become kachara,even checking your unbilled usage is charged if you are not in L1 plan. Imagine the bill of people who use wap and are not members of Rimweb or the ones who do not visit Rimweb frequently. Its time for we the customers to do something to stop this at will fleecing by RCOM/ADAG

I am not a techie, Please correct me if I am wrong I dont thing any nokia mobile has internal FM antena, in my experiance it is using headphone cord as antenna I am saying the same thing,nokia handsets dont have antennas and they use headphones as antenna
