It is actually those lot of plastics which absorb the shock. The all glass and steel band in iphone transfers all the shock to the glass panels. So the all plasticky sammy is actually good when it comes to being dropped.

Go to xda and get the stock+ V2 from jermaine. Almost stock with essential mods like touchpad awake/ unlock etc and reasonable on battery. Sense 3.0 ports do not work very smoothly on Dinc and are battery hoggers. Of course these are my personal observations...

Dear Sougata The Rs. 43/ Rs. 94 packs for 2GB/5GB WAP pack work on EVDO also. Since in your area EVDO has not been deployed by TATA so you are getting 1X only. In any case wap does not serve the purpose since google service with SSL will not work through wap proxy gateway. MTS cc is also not very good and the current EVDO speeds are high due to less subscribers. Consider a scenerio where more that 100 subscribers are connected to a single tower availing the 97.99 offer. What would be the average speeds then???

Dear Sougata, Please do not rush to any conclusion. We do not as yet know whether the MTS EVDO plan in your area is limited promotional offer. Surviving with just 100 bucks from one subscriber and offering 2GB seems to be far fetched. Once the same scheme is introduced in most states, then only we can conclude that this unbelievable plan is here to stay. I also use TATA for their ON NET plans primarily. ( Otherwise my bill would also be 3000+ ) TATA EVDO speeds in Delhi is not great but tolerable whereas MTS is much better.

Your point well taken. But was tempted to the price of Rs 927/-. I thought if I do not find it useful and I can always dispose it off. 300c is definitely best choice.

File complaint immediately with the nearest police station and they will forward the case to their cell-track div which is there in almost every major city. For us it will be a oversize fascinate with 800x480 display which will not look as sharp as the qHD being offered by others. Sansung is using RGB vertical sub-pixel format on display which should look better than pentile. Nevertheless a slim beast with all the power money can buy at this point of time. At XDA, wildstang has a stock ROM which is rooted and de-odexed. I have installed it and found it to be satisfactory. If you are rooted then this ROM is ideal since you do not loose root and S-off status. The ROM is pure stock with only the build.prop file edited.
