    Can the T-Mobile variant HTC M8 unlocked for RCDMA? I believe all the variants have similar hardware.

    T-Mobile is gsm service , it will not work on reliance cdma.

    Hello good people. I am going to purchase a LG G2 LS980 (Sprint Locked) for using in my country for CDMA network only. I am currently using HTC Desire 600c (609d) dual SIM (CDMA+GSM). Now I want to use only CDMA network which uses RUIM (Picture attached) which runs on CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO Rev.A 800 MHz. Will I be able to use LG G2 LS980 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-LG-G2-LS980-BLACK-4G-LTE-32GB-ANDROID-SMARTPHONE-SPRINT-GSM-CDMA-/111729098694?hash=item1a0392bfc6#shpCntId) right out of the box without any unlocking or mod? Many thanks in advance. :)

    Sprint LG G2 works perfectly fine on ruim , there is full post on how to make it work, search our forum.

    It's better if you drop the idea of upgrading it to 5.1

    Boost activation is required to unlock WiFi hotspot option.

    Have you been able to unlock WiFi hotspot, in my case only GSM option activated, WiFi hotspot still not working. It's giving msg that you are not subscribed to service.

    I just unlocked two moto e with boost online activation process , CDMA hotspot also get unlocked. While activating you need to select plan with unlimited access , there is per day unlimited plan of 3.xx $ select that and you will get fully unlocked phone .

    Still in my case all cdma Sim didn't work.

    Today I have got Blackberry 9650 verizon. When I am inserting CDMA SIM it dose not recognize it.Gurus Plz help I want to use it both CDMA and GSM

    BB9650 is not ruim phone. Sim slot is only for GSM.

    For cdma only NV mode works. If phone's meid is not registered then forget about getting reliance cdma. Use it for GSM only.

    Can ppl input on boost version

    How to deal with dialing issue ...when dial no 011 gets auto add and outgoing not getting poss.

    Didn't activate in boost yet. Should unlock boot loader coz auto downloaded new version 313 MB. Didn't install it yet ...

    It's an common setting for most of us imported handset.

    Go to dialer settings and turn off assisted dialing.

    It not a big issue.

    This is being as not due to resale or personal use.

    This is due to you are importing used electronic item.

    Which is called as electronic waste and hazardous material as per Indian import rules.

    Read below -

    Importers of Electrical & Electronic Goods seeking NOC from MOEF

    Importers of Electrical and Electronic Equipments, Spare Parts, Instruments etc.has to get an NOC from Ministry of Enviornment and Forest (MOEF) for conforming their End Use and identification as E-Waste or not prior to the Custom Clearance. Chartered Engineer has to prepare a report to declare the Nature & Type of goods, Residual Life of the Equipments under Import w.r.t the guidelinses of custom’s circular on HAZARDOUS WASTE (Management, Handling and Transboundary) Rules, 2008. After the satisfactory submission of Chartered Engineer’s Report to MOEF, the imported then receives the NOC from MOEF. On the basis of this NOC, the clearance is initiated with customs authority.

    I have Sprint Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE SPH-L300. I want binaries for Reliance CDMA. Can any one help to get it..

    I have used COMBINATION_L300VPALH1_L300SPRALH1_934170_REV00_user_low_ship.tar

    and HOME_L300VPBND4_L300SPRBND4_1539737_REV00_user_low_ship.tar but no luck.

    I am able to use phone but by default for 3G its looks for Sprint network and dosent work.

    Any has used US Sprint rooted in India and used with Indian CDMA operator.

    Many people are using correct , but now putting new samsung victory on reliance is not possible. Its not due to firmware.

    It is due to Reliance registration is not possible now a days.

    Link given by Rishi is an announcement of released 5.0.2 via OTA. I was unable to find Full package zip link .

    To get OTA 5.0.2 you should be on 4.4.4 full stock. Motorola will push OTA package .

    But after that again prl and data setting need to be done.

    Currently I am testing 5.1 soak for boost cdma. Having data and outgoing call issues.
