try 4.5 released by bell. download from bb site9 Ver slow download. Download managers don't work. took 2 hrs for me to d/l. Works on 8830(Tried myself). I already tried downloading this from the Blackberry website but after the download my BB Desktop software said you are on the latest version and there are no updates available. :-( I'm using Reliance connection.... does it have something to do with this?

Will version 4.5 work on BB 8830 with Reliance connection.. as i read somewhere that Reliance does not support version 4.5... please confirm Thanks Sach@RIM

what are you trying to ask ....??? Sorry about the confusion actually my question was about the usage of 8830 device with Wi-Fi, but i found that it does not support Wi-Fi. Thanks Sach@RIM

I tried this DOC software but this only works on OS 4.5 whereas 8830 only supports OS version 4.3. Any workaround? Thanks Sach@RIM

Hello All, I recently purchased a BB World Edition 8830 handset (my first Blackberry) and I'm a bit confused how to use this device optimally. The user guide provided with the device is not useful and does not provide the required information. I'm seeking your help in the following areas: 1. How to view/edit and create MS Office documents and also PDF 2. Currently the default browser is R-Connect, how to move to a blank browser where i do not require to connect to R-world every time 3.
