Hey abhi, u can download 3 wallpapers I think. Can u please pass some info. abt. 5130, (review) how is the resoluation? Ringtones? Is it better than other GSM 65K handset like samsung c-100, Nokia 3120 etc. Plenty of ppl r waiting for the review of LG5130

Well, Reliance has started the competion & am sure will come uo with some really good tariff. 1 shud not compair rim with mtnl wll, but rim has a competion with BSNL & other GSM operators. At the moment BSNL has the best offer & think RIM will do something in that area too.

Well I think it's CSTN coz after going through other info, and excel file provided at rimweb.com for handset comparision it shows 16-bit colour in LG5130 I am not sure weather it comes in TFT also or not. But I think it's CSTN but in VX6000 or RD6000 it is TFT display. Reg.: Other feathres can some one come up with the review. Its 65K CSTN 4 sure now. After going through 2-3 info. of LG5130 I have 1 query. In 1 info. it shows that it is 56K CSTN colour display while in other info. shows it is 65K TFT Colour display. TFT is better than CSTN so is any body sure abt. Display type is it CSTN or TFT??

but can u add wallpapers n ringtones via bitpim???

Finally Reliance came up with wat I was asking frm them. Yeah a new cheap entry level LG5130 Its 65K, Poly R/T, u can download 3 tones etc. @ 4999 Wat abt ppl like me who have old b/w ??? can't upgrade

But can some 1 please throw light that right now if u want to call up rim, frm Virar or Kalyan u can directly dial eight digit no. after 95 series but after 10 digit no. of rim will it be possible to dial rim no frm that areas without STD facility??? Please help?

R u sure that RIM nos. r gonna change to 10 digits??? It is really very sad news. But one thing is okay that ppl. will automatically come to know about the start no. that is 93, so no need to inform e.bdy abt that.

Where are the hindi film ringtones? I had downloded 2-3 hindi film ringtone previously but from last 3-4 months I can;t see the same on R-World. Why? When called up they said it under upgradation. Any Idea about it ?

R Tehy gonna introduce colour handset or still B/W only?? any detail wat type of colour handset 65K colour etc? and at wat price?? coz they charge very heavy for handset.

Buddy I also wanted colour handset but wat I did is kept my old rim as it is and went out n bought samsung c-100 coz I was sure abt the cost U will end paying 300 x 36 = 10800 + 5001 = 15801 in 3 years for the lg wat u bought and wat I bought is Samsung C-100 = 7000 so saved 8801 and the handset is my property in ur case u have to give ur handset back even after paying 15801 RIM is good in network and price but not in handset and service area. Hope u can find some way out. good luk.

Well I am waiting but think if nothing new I will be better go with GSM & colour handset. Let's see wat RIM doing in this area. I think at this topic reliance stands no where. (Colour handset)

Finally I have made my mind and may be get rid of RIM. The reason is I just bought colour samsung c-100 for 6.5K it is really good man. May be I will keep RIM don know at the moment. But one thing is for sure that they(RIM) has very worst scheme for upgradation frm b&w to colour. Just imagine 6500 for samasung c-100 with 65K colour + 40 poly + 500 nos. x 5 add.book + infra red so u can add ringtone+wallpaper etc. & wat RIM offer 14000 for LG rd7130???? RIM should think something abt it

I don't mind paying for R-World. Hope they will come up with some good ring tones too. May be some hindi movies etc. I am sure rim will be charging less compare to other GSM operator. They charge Rs.7 for Ring tone & Rs.5 for logo Let's see what rim decides on this
