So I finally sent EVDO activation request via SMS and surprise, surprise .... Problem solved.

@David. EVDO also got transferred to the new sim alongwith the number transfer request. Like I said before, EVDO does work, but after switching the Data on and off, after a few tries. I tried inserting this sim in another Sprint G2 (Same parameters), and same problem with Data occurs. So, it's definitely not a phone software problem. I guess its a sim series issue. Can other LG G2 (Sprint) users please confirm which sim works and which doesn't? Maybe I'll need to deactivate and reactivate EVDO?

I've been using LG G2 LS980, on stock ZV8, Android 4.2.2 , Cdma on RUIM for a long time with no problems till now. Recently I've started getting these problems...... When people call me, mostly they get engaged tone even when phone is free. Also, when I switch Data on, I get "Unable to establish wireless data connection". Data comes on but after a few tries. EVDO speed is also very slow. I bought a new RECRUC series sim and still the same problems remain. Any pointers??

Facing an issue with the Sprint G2 with unlocked GSM running on ZV8, Android 4.2.2. I'm able to tether internet data to other phones. But when I tether to my Win 8.1 laptop, it says connected, but pages don't open. Any help please? -
I'm using LG G2 LS980, software ZV8, Android 4.2.2 , GSM unlocked. I have not been able to get GPS lock for navigation. Tried some of the GPS Fix apps from Playstore but no luck. Any ideas to get GPS Lock??

What is the way to get wifi tether on G2 Verizon? OK, got it after some R&D. Managed to root G2 Verizon (on Kitkat 4.4.2 26A). Also managed to get wifi tether enabled. -

Spoke to Vinod. All done successfully. Cdma Ruim with data and GSM with data working successfully. Knock off was working fine, not knock on. Did touch firmware update. Sorted. -

I've followed the instructions upto changing the port to 41 successfully. Then I unplug and switch off the phone, then vol down and plug it back to the pc. Screen shows download mode for a few seconds, then goes to Firmware Update screen stuck at 0%. Then I keep the Power button pressed and the phone reboots. How do I keep the Download Mode screen on. What am I doing wrong? Help please. -

If a permanent GSM unlock on the LS980 is done and if the mode is changed from NV to RUIM, then will CDMA (with EVDO) and GSM (with 3G Data) work one by one? Or some settings have to be changed? Also, can we do the same for the Verizon version? -
