There is another option. If your USB HDD is ok, you can get a HDD case of Laptop HDDs and using that you can connect the laptop HDD to a regular PC through USB. Then make it bootable atleast to win98, copy all the setup files needed to the HDD and connect it back to your Laptop. Boot as usual... simple... But need the HDD case for laptop HDDs

I am also facing the same issue with RConnect.... Browsing speed is OK at peak as well as non peak hours... But when i download some Zip file from the net, the speed is very poor. I firmly believe that reliance guys have set up some rules on their servers to make sure that all downloaders do it bit slowly!!!

This happened for me also... You just restart the system once more and try once again. It should work fine!!

I am afraid that you will not be able to do it on Windows 2000 Professional. You can do it on a windows server operating systems only. Get yourself a copy of WIndows 2003. Even a pirated copy will do...
