  2. Boss, which WIFI are you using, because if its office one then it is possible that they have put in Proxy servers for accessing net. If that be the case then there is a process which involves rooting your phone and loading some softwares. BTW which phone do you have???
  3. Respected Gurus, Is there any way that MMS/VCard message settings can be enabled on EVO. See the weird thing is that I can receive Vcards but when I try to send a vcard, it does not gets send and I get "Generic Network Failure". So can you guide me and other newbies how to enable MMS settings. Ofcourse, the solution need not be a freebie and I'm willing to pay reliance for their network usage and to any dev who puts in hard work to make all the facilities of Reliance available to us. Waiting for seniors to chip in with their benevolent advices/solutions. Regards, Nitin
  4. Dhiraj Bhai, If I have already nvwritten earlier file and have got net in working condition, what is additional benefit of nvwriting the full file. Whether it is needed...or as in case of Sanrim, I will loose net connectivity. Please guide

  6. HTC EVO - Mobile Network Problem After 3.70.651.1 Upgrade

Muffadal Bhai, Thanks for taking your time out for guiding us newbies. Sir, just one quick query. The upgrade was not through OTA. It was through XDA-Dev and that too a cracked version. So does the updation of MIP file also happen in this case or the cracked version leaves your data settings unaltered. Please do guide us. Also, if this is the case then I request you to kindly provide settings files which should be updated (along with directions) after any such upgrade as it shall be beneficial for all the common members of the forum. Hope it is not a big problem. Regards, Nitin

  8. HTC EVO - Mobile Network Problem After 3.70.651.1 Upgrade

Yes, After upgrading to 3.70, I have flashed MikFroYo 4.5 based on the upgrade. The system is faster and the battery life has also improved. I have also upgraded the Radio & Wimax to the latest version. But this issue, as discussed with some senior members of Rimweb, is due to usage of rworld net settings and discontinuation of the same by Reliance all across India. So lets see, I sincerely hope that a senoir member chips in to get my settings reconfigured.
  9. Eagerly waiting for the payment process. I suggest that its better to make a sequential process wherein data is feeded online, picture uploaded and transaction done through netbanking/creditcard, and a unique transaction ID generated. I hope thats not a big issue. BTW count me in for the current and future fund raising to be used for removing th shakles of CDMA on users like me.
