yes, its a crappiest phone I ever owned, I was always in a fear of overheating panel to avoid this issue. don't know what to do now, stuck between just replacing the screen or just switch over to GSM

my G2 (LS980 ZVA) touch is not working on top 15% of screen. no wakeup on screen taps, I am also getting phantom clicks from the same area. I am also getting the infamous LCD damaged warring screen on each reboot Do I need to change LCD+digitaiser now? and does any one have done this and got into same issue afterwords?

Hi, in My Handset suddenly evdo stopped working. When I restart the handset and goto About->network it shows evdo rev A. but when it tries to connect to internet for the first time, it fails and then the network will be switched to 1xRTT. I have even tried to send HSD activation request to 55333, but I got a replay that HSD cannot be activated, bz EVDO is service is already active. Any pointers on fixing this issue? this issue is bugging me for few months.

just checked Settings->Abount->netwok type and it was in cdmax 1x till now and switched to evdo sudenly. Is reliance downgraded towers recently, maintaining only cdma 1x? When I reboot my mobile, the network type will be EVDO reA, but after it connects this will be changed to 1xRTT

after returning from international travel, my G2 (OHM sim, Reliance CDMA) is not working in EVDO. and after a long gap, I have become kind of noob on this. Can someone please give some pointer to fix this issue.

yes almost similar temps with my G2, exept for high gaming it reaches 70-72 I am using a local clone of slim armor case got for around 400.

haven't really checked . But doesn't heat up as it was heating up before , i felt . This heat temperature throttle is what all ROM makers are also applying . Might not be with trickster mod but all are using it . Can u plz use this app and tell me the max temp you are getting?, Install the app, goto settings and turn on the overlay option so that temp reading is always visible on top bar

1 - comes up when you flash G3 port and come back . G3 ports or ZVD and going back to ZVC is giving issues . Most people who would have reported would be stock . 2 - comes up when temperature throttle is not switched on in stock . You can do any heavy gaming just this temperature throttle needs to be on or heat spoils the screen how to put temp throttle? using cpu profiles?

What is the max temp you are getting, my stock ZVA minus a lot of sprint and LG crap goes to max 80(rarely). 70-75 on good games/heavy browser. there are kernel updates for kk available which promises max 70deg. I am waiting for some free time to try them stock or stock based ROMs does not hold any modifications to cpu parameters,

i think zva has some tri band radio upgrade. u can remove sprint and lg bloatwares using system app uninstaller

I think its excessive heating issues, kk adds 5-10 deg c above the gb rom. in kk I noticed it going above 70 deg under med to heavy usage. so don't bother upgrading to kk. also this will drain battery like hell. after seeing this heat, i downgraded to zva and added a cpu upper threshold to lower max temp. but this will make camera lag. its kind of useless to have a decent spec and not to use them at all.

Got into another trouble, not getting calls from others, I can hear that the person is not ready to receive the call after 1-2 rings. I did a factory reset and now it is always in a busy tone when i call from other line.

Thanks for the guide. When the activation.apk was renamed I started getting an error about some process crashed recursively. So did restarted phone by pressing and holding power button and then continued the rename. On ZVA: there is no apk for SPR_Skyfire_, SprintID. So now after reboot there is no crappy hands free activation, but I am always getting 3G icon even though I am at cdma 1x -
My phone gets heated up quickly, 55-60 c when I push apps from play store. currently I have used no frill cpu control and set the min freq to 300, max to 1.2G and Governor to Conservative Installed Greenify to hibernate some app Any one having the same issue? Also battery starts draining very fast when I use, what apps I have to block to stop it? currently in ruim mode, ZVA + d3rpg2 custom rom, rooted, data + GPS always on, nfc off, sync on, auto-brightness 40%, watzapp + email on. Update: no frill cpu was not setting upper cap, so used trickster mode and was able control the max speed. But this was not setting the cap for other cores, any better tool to set the cap?

Did you buy the tablet?. How is it?, my earlier experience with ainol is not so good, I have Novo 8 tablet which is laggy and dead now. Are you able to use Bluetooth from OTG?
