Hi all, I need your help urgently. I don't have another phone, and expecting an interview feedback call. Problem: My HTC 510 was always showing space full in spite of me moving all the apps to sd card Only whats app and naukri app were on phone which couldnt be moved. I was not able to refresh emails due to internal memory being full. I even deleted whats app but still it didnt work. So, I had no other option but to factory reset my phone. I did the same and was stuck on hands free activation after rebooting (although I was able to receive calls only, nothing else). I read in some topics here that after waiting for some time it goes away, but it didnt happen. Next day I referred to HTC 510 topic here which suggested to delete setupwizard.apk and all the odex files from TWRP. I did, and now after reboot I am stuch on HTC (I suppose its the boot screen). Now my phone is as good as switched off. Kindly help, its very urgent. Thanking you in advance.

and yes, I flashed raptor rom (version 1). It is good as compared to the default rom. the battery drains a bit faster, but I get more internal memory (around 300-400mb after installing the apps which cannot be moved to SD card), which was the major concern for me.

No, I just check it yesterday, it is not working.

Thank you atishj. The issue is now resolved. However, I didn't had to rename the htcsetupwizard.apk file. From TWRP, in Wipe, I did advanced wipe and wiped everything, then installed the ROM. No hands free activation after that. Hope this helps somebody.

Thank you Kapil. That worked, my phone is turning on now. and I am able to receive calls at least. But I am again stuck on hands free activation screen. Tried deleting setupwizard.apk and setupwizard.odex files, still stuck on same screen. Kindly advice.

Thank you Kapil. I will download and install. Will let you know if it works. BTW, I have tried installing another ROM called dragon ROM but it haven't worked.

I guess you will have to wait till there is some proper solution. Anyways, I feel that problems related to Moto X are ignored in this forum, partly because its an OS related issue which may not have a solution as of now. Ok. finally I got EVDO working on my Moto X after 3 months or so.. Below are the steps to follow if you are able to use 1x only and no EVDO. Many people here may already know, but its for noob's like me. Whenever we change the sim card (may not happen to everyone), we have to reactivate EVDO. When we send message to activate EVDO, or even do it through reliance mobile store, we get a message confirming that EVDO is activated, on enquiring the customer care people will also tell you that EVDO is activated, coz on their system EVDO will show as activated on your number. But you will not be able to use EVDO. I initially thought that its something to do with Kitkat OS of my moto, but I was wrong. Solution: download Reliance instacare app from playstore. Through the app file a complaint to deactivate and then restart your EVDO services. within 2 days (mine got resolved within 1 day) your EVDO will be activated and you will be able to use it hope this helps somebody.

Hello friends, I believe there is no proper solution to the kitkat OS and reliance data issue on the moto X as of yet. I had posted earlier also regarding the issue of CDMA not working on moto x. Well, it was another (Sprint) moto x I queried earlier about. I have now bought a new moto x which is US cellular (xt1055). I am facing a unique issue. First of all, I changed my sim from normal cut into nano to a proper nano sim provided by reliance (which I faced great difficulty in finding). So, once I changed my sim to nano (not precut micro, its a proper nano sim), my number was activated, sms, calls, 1x data is working. But EVDO is not working. I was using EVDO on my S3 (R530U) earlier without any problem. The 3G signal shows up sometimes, but internet does not work when there is 3G signal. Internet only works on 1x. It is very frustating because whenever the signal turns to 3G the internet stops working, and in this world of Rev B I am having to use 1x . I tried looking for solution, but found no cure to this issue. People are either able to use internet (1x and EVDO) on moto x or not at all. But I am not able to use only EVDO. Just for information, I have activated EVDO and have confirmed this with reliance on my multiple visits to the multiple stores that I had wandered to solve my issue. Kindly help me in finding a solution. If any coustom rom can resolve the issue, plz suggest. Or if I change to TATA cdma, will it work? And which sim in particular should I use in TATA to get it working on EVDO. I bought a new sim of TATA, I cut it into nano, but it is not working in my moto x but working in S3. Please suggest, as I cannot buy a new phone right now. Awaiting your reply. -Sagar

It is registered to Reliance (carrier) now, originally it was verizon. data was still not enabled so google account was not set, so cannot login using that too. have been searching for solution since a week now but the issue is still not resolved. Phone details: carrier - reliance, non rooted, android version - 2.1, update 1, USB debugging - off (cannot enable now as it is locked) so cannot perform ABD, tried updating OS but unable to as the phone is not rooted. Tried factory restore also (5 times), not working. Visited local samsung service center , but the guys said they cannot help as this is a foreign handset. tried one click unlocker also. Please help. Is is getting very frustrating now. Just want to ensure you people that this not a stolen phone, I bought it through ebay and I have the receipts. totally at the mercy of this forum now.

Hi Nishant, Havent come across anybody personally using RUIM on sprint moto x. however, there are still many listings on ebay and other websites selling sim based cdma sprint moto x. Also, have read in threads here about people using tata and reliance cdma sim with it. For now, I am stuck. cannot downgrade also. I've read that downgrading from anything above 4.4.2 may brick this phone. Any solution guys?

Hi all, I am sorry if I am repeating this and if it has been already answered in other forums. Before posting this issue, I tried to search for the solution on web as well as on our own rimweb . I read that same issue is affecting moto droid. I recently bought this Sprint Moto X from eBay. It was listed as CDMA & GSM. Being a reliance cdma user, I bought this phone. Now, the issue is, it is not at all working with reliance cdma (no call, no data, no signal at all). So I bought a new TATA CDMA sim to test, but it is not working either (no call, no data, no signal at all). GSM is working fine. I contacted seller, but he is not aware and said that it was working fine on both cdma and gsm before sending it to me. I enquired further and realized that, before sending the handset to me, the seller had upgraded it to android 4.4.4, which I think is the culprit. As we all are aware, that this is known issue with 4.4.4 on moto. I wanted to know if there is any way, I can get TATA CDMA or Reliance CDMA working on this handset? I am a CDMA user and would love to stay that way. Request my expert friends here to kindly assist me. Below are the details: Handset: Sprint Moto X (XT1056) Network support: CDMA and GSM Android version: 4.4.4 Current status: GSM working. CDMA not working at all (no calls, no data) If it helps, I have tried hot swapping and it’s not working. Also, I have heard the new series cdma sim for reliance works up to 4.4.2. Hi Amit and Grebel, Thank you for the explaination. I tried searching for relevant topics and figured out that I may be having a bad download. Its a huge file to try again though, almost 1.3 gb. However, I was successful in performing the nv restore part, but as I couldnt flash the corrupt md5, I restored my phone with the backup image I had. To my surprise, the data is ON for now (mostly 1x, rarely on 3g). I am aware that it will go off once I reboot my phone. For some reason, I am not able to install the "SamsungSimpleUpgradeTool_for_SCH-R530_USCC_Ver1.0.016_MB1.exe" file on my computer, tried installing it on another pc aswell. Just one question, is it ok if I flash stock rom (4.1.1) after I perform the nv restore (I am not sure if I need to do it again)? Will it work for data? If yes then may be once the data issue is resolved I can move on to the "Hyperdrive ROM". Also, has anyone heard of the slimbean ROM for R530? thank you again Amit bhai and grebel. Hi All, I am not sure what wrong I have done. My samsung fascinate was frequently getting hanged, was awfully slow of-late and even a game like temple run (1st version) was unplayable. So I decided to factory reset it. I did it from the setting menu on phone. I have previously installed custom rom's but I had settled on GB (stock Gingerbread) which I personally liked. After the factory reset, Its taking me to the 'Select Language' and then 'Please Send to activate your phone screen'. When I attempt to activate, the IVR tells me that my phone is already activated and that I should be able to use it once I restart the phone. But after I restart the phone, it again takes me to activation screen,. tried it numerous times. Please help. Note: Phone is registered with reliance.

Hi People, Just wanted to know if the phone is really bricked now, or if there's something that can be done. Below is the issue: I recently upgraded my friends Epic 4g to gellybean. after using it for some days, he was not happy with custom built rom, so he again wanted to go on stock Gingerbread. While flashing stock rom along with the pit file through odin the process just stopped after completing 10-20 % and then failed. I took extra care not to disturb the usb cable while flashing as I have experienced its consequences in past. Now the issue is, the phone is not starting up an any mode, not even download mode. Hi Joshm, The eh03 file is flashing well. I am currently on it. data is not working (except wifi). The problem is, I bought this phone from a guy who bought it from US, and he was about to move to Singapore, so he sold it to me relatively cheap (and I was a noob(maybe still am:)). The point is, this phone was never programmed for data, and that's exactly the reason I wanted to flash this ICS rom as it came along with data fix. I will try and re-do the entire process again although I have already done it many times. But we still have the stock eh03, in-case something goes wrong. Is there any .zip file which would program this phone for evdo? Or is there any other procedure? Plz do let me know. As it is, I cannot use data, so there is nothing to lose,..
