  1. Shut down of CDMA services is not followed by launch of 4G LTE. Basically the migration is from RCom CDMA to RGSM initially.

The latest report says that 4G LTE on RJio will be offered to those 4g upgraded customers in 12 circles next week and remaining circles (mostly southern states) will be covered by mid July.

Reliance Communications (RCom) has informed Department of Telecommunications (DoT) that it will move customers of 12 circles to Reliance Jio network next week, as per reports.

Get ready for more disruptions during transition☹️

  3. 4G from reliance is a big sham. I dont see they giving 4G even to anyone leave alone cdma users (who were forced to convert into GSM by this propoganda) before december,

Spoke to someone in Reliance and he said that the process of shifting all cdma users to GSM will take time and unless all are converted 4G wont be switched on. I guess we r stuck on a pathetic 2G/3G network till dec at least.

But can't they deploy 4G circle wise ?

  4. Today I got one SMS which says "Your request for 4G migration has been done on SIM 899........."

Now not able to make or receive calls/ EVDO/1x on CDMA sim. Inserted 4g sim on my 4g (Band 3 only) phone. Call and SMS works occasionally. Absolutely no data connectivity so far. Network shows Reliance.

I am from Mumbai ( postpaid)
