@mojac Yes absolutely u can have internet access through USB cable on this handset. But for this u have to buy a new cable and ur old cable will be useless. Another choice for u is, u can buy USB to Serial convertor from the market. It will cost u less than a new usb data cable. After purchasing this convertor cable u can use ur old data cable with it. @aircom I too using this handset from the last 3 years but have no problems with voice feature. I think your handset's speaker might be torn. You can go to the LG's authorised service station to solve the problem. Regards.

@abhay Many families use Doordarshan's DTH service in India. If you don't use it than u must not expect others also. By the way, what's the problem with using Doordarshan's DTH. Its a good choice I think. Especially when these Cable Operators lines goes off. I saw many families which are using it as an add-on to their Cable Connections. Regards.

@arunanto I think there must be some misunderstanding. As your handset was not lost. You had returned the handset to ww people in working condition. Then there is no question of demanding more money on behalf of the lost one. You can go to the same web world and sort out the matter. Regards.

@schumi Dear friend atleast make an FIR with your local police station. Only then you can trace your handset. Well local police will not lodge your FIR easily, as they did not give very much importance to the lost mobile complaints. But you can trace your handset only after the FIR. (if you r lucky enough).

I think airtel gives full talk time on its top-ups only in lifetime scheme. But I'm not sure.

The only thing you can now do is, take the handset to your nearest lg service centre and get its software upgraded. I think that your ringer and missed call problem will be solved by this. You will see another con after software upgradation in this handset. That con is the ringer volume of this stupid handset is very low. You can hardly listen the sound of the ringer in traffic areas. Even if you had kept the handset in your trouser's pocket, you can't listen ringer voice. Regards.

Now a days Reliance is offering this handset @ Rs. 1000/- with 1 year incoming and Rs. 600/- onnet talktime in Mumbai.

Ringing Volume (Speaker volume) of this handset is very low. You can hardly listen the tone in high traffic areas.

@linuxguy I am a hutch subscriber from the last 7 years when it runs its services under the name of Maxtouch. At that time there were some errors in billing system, but I didn't found any error from the last three years in hutch billing. They are providing world class billing service, you don't have to worry about this. Regards.

It seems to be good enough that Reliance is working on the Rworld features for this handset. As, the new game section appeared in the Rworld Menu of the handset with some good games. Now the only thing which is left with this handset is to download songs from Rworld, as it was clearly mentioned on the broucher of this handset that we can download songs from Rworld. I think that Reliance must be working on this feature also. Another con with this handset is that the memory of this handset is very less. It has only 2.29 MB of memory, which is not enough for Rworld features. Regards.

I think the ringer of this handset is not good, as other inbuilt ringtones which came with the handset too are not so loud as compared to other handsets. I think that this is because of the ringer is on the back side of the handset. So, when we put our handset on the flat surface (eg. table) then the ringer volume decreased by nearly 60%. I nearly miss 2-3 calls every day due to this problem, as the ringer volume cannot be heared to the next room. So, this handset is not recommended for those who travel a lot, because it is nearly impossible to hear the ringer sound in traffic areas. Regards

@ajith You must go to the service centre and ask them to reload the software version. As when, they reloaded the software version on my handset, my problem of saving ringtones and wallpaper now been solved. But one con for the bollytunes is that, maximum of the ringtones has very low sound volume. Even if you put your phone profile to "Outdoor", you can hardly listen to the ringer tone in the traffic areas.
