  1. 1 Second Pulse Rate

i agree with kesav. All operators were giving 5 seconds incoming free when the mobile services had launched in india, nearly about 11 years back. If we disconnect the incoming call within 5 seconds then that call was not charged at that moment. At that time outgoing and incoming call rates were Rs. 16/- per minute. And the pulse rate was 15 seconds. So for 15 seconds we had to pay Rs. 4/- at that time. But now as the mobile industry growned up, its right time to start the 1 sec. pulse system. Lets hope for the best. Enjoy ! Regards.
  2. One Phone Vs Digi Cam, Mp3 Player, Organizer

    i agree with ashok
  3. @imvikky Thanks again for you suggession, but now i had already disconnected freedom@night plan and will use zero rental plan only. Thanks once again. Enjoy ! Regards.
  4. @imvikky hi, i think u r right about the mass downloader software, it would be very useful for others who surf in the night and download heavily. But in my case, i am not sure if i can wake up early in the morning to disconnect the r-connect or switching off my computer. so, zero rental plan is much beneficial for me, i think ? I can use it as per my needs. My freedom@night plan already got disconnect from yesterday onwards i.e. 17th January 06. But u and other people, do enjoy the much more benefits of this plan while taking care of your health. Enjoy, Regards.
  5. Hi dear friends. Reliance has launched a new lifetime package for its landline connections. It works only with the new LG LSP400 phone model with new postpaid connections only. Rates for the new connection is Rs. 2999/- with zero lifetime rentals. Clip is free. Local call pulse rate @1.20. So far there is no lifetime pack for its current landline users. But hope Reliance will launch it very soon for its current users. Otherwise Lifetime landline @2999/- is not a bad deal, i think. Please forward your feedbacks. Enjoy java script:emoticon(' ', 'smid_10') Regards ------------------------------------- Give people more than they expect, and do it cheerfully
  6. I too agree with all of you above guys. Trai should interfere in this matter
  7. Hi all my dear friends I am discontiuning freedom@night plan. Just because, I am getting INSOMNIAC. Well, freedom@night plan is a good plan for night users, but it doesn't prooved good for me. As my routine got disturbed and i got insomniac. Now i decided to change my r-connect plan to basic plan i.e. zero rental plan, in which one has to pay 0.50 paise in peak hours and 0.25 paise for off-peak hours. Anyone who is going to subscribe for this freedom@night plan please think of getting Insomniac first. And for the current users of this plan, please take care of your health and stick to your daily night sleep routine. I'm not against this plan, but one should take care of health also. Enjoy ! Regards.
  8. Terminate My Fwp Connection

@ashras99 I think you don't have to worry about this, because FWP works only in the 150 metres from the place of activation. So, there is very little chance of misuse.
  9. Ala Re Ala Hutch!

@theneo i think you are talking about number portability. the same has been rejected by mtnl, as mtnl think there is no need of this kind of service in India right now. but the TRAI / DOT still have to make a decision on number portability.
  10. R Connect problem with electronic equipments

Same disconnection problem with my lsp340e handset. But I noticed that whenever any human being pass nearby the handset, it get disconnected. Otherwise, it runs smoothly. I am noticing this from the last 2 years.
  11. eh? Does that mean that they will start charging 60p per 30 seconds rather than Rs.1.2 per 60s? @linuxguy by that i mean Rs. 1.20 per 30 seconds or 45 seconds.
  12. I think that ONE INDIA offer would be provided from 26th January
  13. Rconnect Connection Meter

DU Meter is the best choice for accuracy.
  14. I think call rates won't go up. But the pulse would go down. It may be 30 seconds all over India.
  15. Tips To Recover Scratched Cds

  17. Should I Go For Freedom@night Plan?

@ chirag No, sir there is no charge for this service. This is free. Regards. ------------------- Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
  18. Should I Go For Freedom@night Plan?

Dear Anu, As u asked that how did I know my peak hour usage of Rs. 14. Let me explain that, I am also a kind of person like you who only use the net in the night. I rarely use the net in peak hours. Whenever I use the net in peak hours I write down the minutes usage in my diary with date and time to cross check with reliance bill. In the last month I used the net for 28 minutes in peak hours, so they charged me Rs. 14/- extra for the peak hour usage apart from the rental of freedom@night plan. Now I am going to tell one thing to all of you guys, about which very little people knows : If any of you having any doubt about your usage, then just go to your nearest Reliance Web World and ask them for CDR (Call Data Record). They don't despatch the CDR to customers. You have to personally collect it from the Web World. After making the request for CDR, you will get the same within 10 to 15 days. You can specify the dates from and to which you needs your call details (Eg.: From 20-11-2005 to 30-11-2005). After getting the CDR, u can check your daily usage with time. It will clearly specify that when did you used ur phone for data calls and for how many minutes. It also specify ur phone calls. ------------------ Never laugh at anyone's dreams
  19. Should I Go For Freedom@night Plan?

Dear Anu, As I told you in my previous mail that i got the waiver of Rs. 321. Please note that the actual waiver amount was Rs. 291, they waive off the service tax also. So Rs. 291+10.2% service tax = Rs. 321. You asked that why only 321/-. According to them my data usage charger were 735/-, which was wrong. Of which they gave me the waiver of Rs. 321. So, now Rs. 735 - 321 = Rs. 414. Out of Rs. 414, the Rs.14 are my peak hours usage charges and Rs. 400/- is the monthly rental of freedom@night plan. I think now all your doubts would be cleared. So, now don't thing negative about this. If you feel that u really need this plan, than go for it definetly. Be positive and take care. Regards. --------------- Talk slowly but think quickly.
  20. Should I Go For Freedom@night Plan?

@ rajan Dear rajan u don't have to wait to receive you bill by post. Just call the customer care and ask if the bill is prepared. Then ask them your total bill amount. After that, ask them about the data charges for the current bill. They will tell you the charges for the data. If then, you feel that they had wrongly charged, then you lodge the complaint at that moment. They will check you plan, and lodge the complaint. Remember my billing date is 15th of every month. I too didn't received the bill yet. But i had called the Customer Care on 18th Novemer and asked the amount of the data charges. Then i made the complaint with CC, they given me the Complaint No. with waiting time of 72 hours. And I got the waiver of Rs. 321/- by 21st November 2005. Even before the bill had to reach me. They told me that the waiver amount would reflect in my next bill. I also received a call from Customer Care. @ Anu Don't be afraid of anything. Go and get it. There will not be any problem with your billing. And if, any problem arises then just call the CC department. After all they are sitting there for "CUSTOMER CARE". Regards. -------------- When you say "I'm sorry" look the person in the eye.
  21. Should I Go For Freedom@night Plan?

Dear Anu You can definetly go for this freedom@night plan without any hesitation. I had activated my freedom@night plan on 18th October and my billing date is 15th of every month. My unbilled usage was increasing regularly, and i got my bill with data charges of Rs. 735/-. I registered the complaint with reliance, and within 72 hours they gave me the waiver of Rs. 321/-. It is a good plan, in fact, if you can make maximum use of it. Only the con in this plan is that whenever u change your freedom@night plan to regular data plan or to any other plan, you won't get the same ricmail e-mail address as you would register when in freedom@night plan. Otherwise it's a good plan. Don't be afraid, if there is any problem in your billing, the reliance people would definetly adjust your amount. Thanks vk ------------------------------ Give people more than they expect, and do it cheerfully.
  22. @shabs, that's the right way to make maximum use of this plan. Carry on, good luck.
  23. All my dear friends, I think there is no way to dial a long distance call without the prefix "0", because of the telephone numbering system in India. As we all know that there can be same numbers in many cities. Just take the example of reliance. Reliance alloted the series of 309 to all its circles. By that i mean, if there is a number 3091---- activated in mumbai, the same number had also been activated in many other circles, like delhi kanpur. So, if you don't prefix "0", than how can the system judge that where to land that call. There will be only one way left with TRAI than, it has to change the series of our whole country. Lets hope for the best. Thanks. Give people more than they expect, and do it cheerfully.
  24. Dear friends, It is not confirmed till now that all calls will be made local from January 1, 2006. As per Mr. Dayanidhi Maran's dream of "ONE INDIA", he proposed to make all calls made within the country as local calls. But only God knows what will be the pulse rate for those calls. May be it is 15 seconds or 30 seconds or ...........? Lets hope for the best Thanks.
