In recent past, there has been brief bouts of discussion on RIMWeb about pollution, carbon footprints and global warming. Today it just stuck in my mind that there are so many electronic things which we buy, use and change even when useful life is left. For example, today I bought wireless KB + Mouse just to replace perfectly working keyboard and minor problem in mouse. Means if not mouse, atleast keyboard can be used by some one. New pair cost about 1800 bucks. Only keyboard may be costing about 1000 bucks and mouse alone may be the same. So I thought, what if I send or give it to some one who is about to buy new key board or may be he needs to buy keyboard. In any case I am not going to use it and it will be scrapped after some time. Hence I decided to post a thread where I will be sending this pair of Logitec pair of mouse and KB free. I will only charge for actual courier charges. Trusted Rimwebian may pay me once they get the stuff. Other people may pay me in advance. Also this thread is to be used for free give away without any obligations on either side. Please do not post if one is really not interested to give away free. If I get proper response, I am going to offer following thing: 1. BSNL ADSL + Wifi router 2. may be I have few chargers and data cable for various phones. 3. Some working computer hardware parts like HDD, RAM, graphic / modem cards etc. Will prepare list and post. All are invited to post their old stuffs too.

2nd sim support VoLTE. So I don't think there would be any problem using CDMA + VoLTE. Provided it support CDMA by default.

Upon clearing my one abandoned drawer, I found following 1 piece ZTE CDMA modem for BSNL. I am sure it will not have any provisioning. Am also not sure how helpful it will be to get service. 1 Piece RELIANCE modem. 1 screen OK, Moto Razr Maxx. Main board has problem, not getting charged. 1 piece Samsung Epic phone, screen has problem , screen ON but touch pad not working. 1 piece Samsung Moment handset. Working well. 1 Piece modem dead Palm Treo handset. Please let me know if any thing is useful to any one. Else will scrap it.

In Ahmedabad porting to Jio yet not started. I inquired with dealer and digital express mini ( simmering like that)

Why not to think that IUC will go away soon? I see incoming chargeable days are not far.

To me it seems ways to penetrate deep rural areas. I am sure urban users will not be amused to know about Bsnl. In Ahmedabad Jio network is as good as Airtel and Vodafone

Try raising complain, they may work upon. They are sincere as I over heard they did took steps to improve coverage upon complaint in Ahmedabad

Voice doesn't use data

I have no idea for wifi router. Wifi hotspot doesn't work with Jio join.

Who is not collecting location data these days? Privacy is concept of past. How much ever we wish, using smart phone means all your data is somewhere up for sale including contact details If Jio join fail IMO tough time for Jio for year or so - by the time range of voLTE phones are available.

Jio join need Jio sim I'm phone, that's all. Jio join when I tried on Yureka, it was lagging a lot.

I believe, Jio will come with still better plans. Excellent plan and strategy but need even better if they want users to invest in to handsets for coming to Jio.

Where is link of app you are referring to?

If you did not enabled VoLTE, then enable first and rebooting phone is advised. VoLTE works well in rn3.

I think 7.3.0 update. May be skipped. Yesterday I switched to CM13 by santhosh. I am finding Bluetooth battery drain issue. Those who are not using BT may try it, smooth , almost no bug except no volte. Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk

Why would jio means lyf? New handset are coming with voLTE and jio join is good app for phone without LTE. Only problem is one has to handle 2 different dialer for jio and non jio sim. Redmi note 3, 32 GB is made in India . Miui is not great os to use but RN 3 has excellent battery (on 3G) , mediocre camera, superb processor, average to poor ram management. Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
