and for those who are frequently deactivating and reactivatig R-Connect to note that they inadvertantly will enter the Rs 1/- plan and if ignorant will faint at the bill next month Also I fear they might take out the standard plan or stop new subscription to it.

indeed it is handset specific. The jad files links point to specific links like RD_7130 etc as I had seen earlier.

never compare it with a DSL If U are bent upon/have no other options to reliance then U can consider the Silver and Gold plans. U can recieve phone calls as the connection will periodically go dormant when there is no network activity.

what exactly hapens when U set it ? Does it not ring not vibrate or neither ? s/w upgrade might help U.

Indeed - very costly.. that too speeds are not far superior to dialups.

If even that doesn't help U and don't want to wait then U can give a try going to the link directly after editing the favorites file and adding a link to ICICI using bitpim - if U are comfortable using it. (I know Gtran user's may not be). Same thing can be tried for games too.

Yeah I couldn't any details about that. I don't think they have a high level interface there and exposing the low level interface to public may be harmful from their point of view (User may hack anything/evade billing etc) _ I remember to have seen some discussion like that somewhere.

I remember a WW person warning/threatening me that the data cable kit comes with absolutely no warranty even that it fits the phone leave alone working or not. I asked if by chance it is defective what to do? He said - only option is to buy a new one. Anyway the cable worked well Then I had no idea of 3rd party cables

It may be an issue with LG RD mobiles .. also bitpim is not designed for the models we are using.

Chirag I really wish that it would work like that... My new board no more allows me to access the "Call History" Applet. Never happened with me on bitpim 0.62 on XPHome Sp1. I think it may be an issue with either Ur motherboard or the datacable. Off Topic turbasu don't mind - but how about specifying a Post title that accurately reflects Ur topic? You can listen to the call details and NOT the conversation. If they allowed conversation then that would be a serious invasion of privacy (not to mention even this does for some).

Yeah I posted that sometime back - but then my older software of LG 2130 didn't allow. Once U dial *444 U get a MMS - on executing that MMS - click "conn" option it will take U to R-World and execute a Java applet containing the last few calls U made. U can view as well as hear them. Please note that if U can't run it get Ur mobile's software version upgraded.

Can U please tell us the source of your information ?? Would DAPO users also be charged @ Rs 1/- per min ??
