Yes I tried that and it worked when I was at one stage unable to add many words to my 7130

There are several that doesn't get added no matter what U do. These words vary with the hanset models too U can save Ur t9en db file and delete it from phone than retry adding - still if doesn't help - U can't prolly do anything more (restore Ur old db file to resore the words U added back accepting th defeat )

If one can find a bigger battery of appropraite voltage that fits the phone(I had seen some ads like that for some verizon phones) this prob can be partly resolved. BTW does h/s come with a spare battery?

Yeah 5130 has some cool SMS features but has a serious/stupid limitation of sending 140 characters for those who want type/forward long sms like jokes etc.

I think the Bird Ringtone was made using "digital ear" software.

pretender what I was talking was when u switch off and back on mobile at a place too far away from a reliace tower. So there is no question of time info stored in the h/s being displayed

I have seen that we can recieve SMS which are 160 char from GSM on 5130. It's simply (and unfortunately) that the length checker doesn't allow U to forward or create a mesage beyond 140 characters. Another downside for SMSer is that the ¶ (carriage return) is missing from the symbols option so U can't create multi screen SMS.

I don't know if it gets time info from other sources or the signal strength required is too low - but many other might have noticed too that even in the abscence of any reliance towers several hundered km radius and no signal indication on phone - it sometimes still gets time info

I think allowing guest post will add up lots of waste irrelevant and nonsense posts besides adding to opportunity for easy flaming/hate topics thereby making things more chaotic to all and painful to moderators.

It was possible to download custom ringtones on 2130 from a Mail sent to the phone as MMS from yahoo account. It has stopped working now. We can get neither the EEPROM burner nor the latest s/w binary. So U can visit a Samsung Authorised Service center and get Ur h/s software updated for free.

Can U come out of this "Mute" using the In Call Menu OR End button ?? In my 5130 it seems to be permanent for that call

I think data cable of 7130/7230/5130 are interchangeable. 2030 cable is different.

U can't even beam photos and videos? Then it's an absolute waste. May be 7230 users can request LG that option in a s/w upgrade coz it simply needs s/w to do it.

May be Ur hs software has developed some error. Go to the nearest LG service center to get it fixed by a s/w upgradation or whatever else they advice.

Hmmm.. I was talking about 5130 where the h/s detects the % of charging remaining etc. In 2030/7130/7230 it is the charger which decides this atleast on Desktop charger.

This happens on 5130 too. But if U reinsert the battery without disonnecting the charger the battery level will be falsely indicated and this may result in overcharging of the battery.

It's working even for me .. May be U can tell us what exactly showed up.
