even thou mm has priced it very competently, how many among us will be ready to hold on one in real life.maybe our perceptions will change with time but as of now i wont waste $$ on a mm.
I have changed the perception. In last 1 year, I recommended Spice, Karbonn and Micromax to my family and friends and they actually bought them too. In all, I was able to influence them to buy 8 handsets last year. Believe me, they are happy. Here, it is not the company's reputation, but my own reputation at stake.

sorry to differ, It shouid be Indian Mobile Importers.
For that matter all the phones in India are imported and almost all of them are effectively-made-in-China - Be it Samsung, IPhone, Micromax, Karbonn and many more...
When I said Indian mobile makers, I didnt mean manufacturers, They are not cheap makers. Few of them are actually assembling those phones in India. The only difference between Indian brands and the global ones are where they assemble their products. For most of them the source is only one.

I need to buy the phone with warranty. So couldn't go for pantech.
I checked micromax a110, karbonn a21 and iball Andi 4.5h. Out of these I liked andi the most. Its going a bit beyond the budget, but I would like to go with it.
Any deal on it? Or where will it be cheaper?

I got the portout code on 27-Dec. The outsourced retention agent called me 9 days back and offered this plan. Asked me to send the id proof over email. They lost it in two days. They send somebody to get a sign on physical form. lot of follow up since then. The port out code expired on 10-jan. But today after calling cc I came to know that the plan got activated today.

Today I got call asking why I wanted to port-out. The lady offered Zero rental plan but asked for my ID proof. She sent an email id rcom@marcoexpress.com via SMS. I sent the scanned copy of ID proof on it.
Not sure whether this is an agency appointed by rcom for retention. Now I have to wait for 7 working days for the new plan to come into effect - I was told.

porting threat is needed for this plan?Yes, that's what I learned from this thread. And got port out code 3 days back. But still there is no call for retention
I am on 440 plan right now and customer for 6 yrs. So, it is still not clear what is the procedure to get this plan.

This zero rental plan is no longer offered in any circle. But u can ask for DSSPL99 plan having rental of Rs 99/- and Rs 120/- local & std talktime@ 1ps/sec (12000 sec) + 200 local sms free. Tariff 1ps/sec local, std and roaming. This plan is better than zero rental plan.Sent from LG Optimus G

Why is it so? I guess, that would be too late. Nobody would wait till last day to port out . May be they should call when they know that there is a port in request given to some other service provider.

I guess, here ppl are talking abt revision in tariff for their prepaid reliance connections. And few cases of other service providers.
I still believe that reliance do not revise their existing plan in postpaid. Plz. Correct me if this has been changed.

keep increasing the screen size, but they cant be samsung!!!!big is not always better. i dont see it lasting even one day without charging.Even samsung needs to be charged once a day. And for that matter any androids.
Bigger screen size is a trend now.
I see this phone value for money.

What is the cheapest plan available right now? I just want to keep this cdma number. I dont have any phone calls to make from this number. The only usage would be EVDO on mobile and I may opt for the 94 rs pack to get 1GB.
