IMO, I didnt find anything gud in that...previously when iphone was released..it was like Iphone on WM...which made most of the mobile unstable...I like to keep the mobile which is itself....if its iphone..let it be..and if its android..let it be android...thats my personal opinion only...

So, leaving aside the issue of "Why would anyone want to do that!?", has anyone here actually tried running Android on their iphones yet? It is a VERY experimental thing to do, but it would be interesting to know the experiences of anyone who has tried it.

Arre ye programmers aur hackers ka ambition hota hai to achieve some thing which has never been conquered before.

Like running windows on mac

Such experiments needs uber skills and knowledge.

One stop guide along with user manual, FAQ, developers guide are available at idroidproject. This site provides latest iDroid software also.

But as far as I know, Android works well on iPhone 2G and ipad but on 3G GPU support is not there although it runs fine. On iPhone 4, it is still under process.

One of the YouTube videos that I watched shows a rather slow and buggy implementation of android on iphone. For hacking purposes, it looks like fun but I doubt if a practical everyday implementation exists yet.

As for whether anyone would want to run android on iphone - I think it is an interesting option for folks who like the looks (and also the display of the new iphone)but otherwise like android.
