Well, if you go to court over this I think they will find it illegal. Because you are using somebody creation (music) without paying him royalty.

Basically it would be as legal or illegal as having a MP3.

But finally it falls in grey area i believe.

Just for record, Legal ringtones pay royalty to the company which holds the copyright to the music.

BTW, please stop using caps. Its equivalent of shouting. I am sure you will be getting some fire from ADMINS on this group soon.

himanav, thats right... uploading ringtones without paying loyalty to the music creator is illegal.

Regarding the CAPS, please do not use block letters for the whole text when posting something in the forums.
