New Rooting / S-Off Tool

Here is a new tool (still in Beta) for rooting that I found via xda-developers.com

***Use at your own risk and judgment.***

I've successfully S-OFF and Rooted a HTC Incredible 2.

I followed the instructions from xda-developers,

This is same one which we used for Evo 3D

And it works perfectly, done by same team unrevoked with AlphaRav

Its more of a S-OFF tool for new devices. not a Android OS root.

I followed the directions on xda-developers.com link that i provided and also got SU user App installed via SD card on my phone, so I believe my phone is rooted as well. Perhaps this is a new function of the latest release of the tool.

I hear now on the Incredible 2 it only works with Gingerbread. So those with Froyo (OTA is not available in India) will be stuck.

yes, first it will do s-off to hboot

then root and recovery
