Though the license is quashed, India’s pure play CDMA operator Sistema Shyam Teleservices which operates under MTS India brand, is continuing their business at a high pace while Russia is pushing Indian government to protect the investment. In the line of offering best to its CDMA customers MTS India launched two new Android powered full touch smartphones – MTAG 352 and MTAG 351.

MTS earlier launched MTag Livewire, MTag 3.1 and MTag 401. So with this launch of two new MTag phones total no. of MTAG phones reaches five. MTag 352 is ZTE made, while MTag 351 is made by TCT Mobile. MTag 351 and 352 both run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and available at MRP of Rs 7499 and Rs 6499 respectively.

MTS adds some free benefits with both of the phones to sweeten the deal – 1 Month free subscription of MTS TV, local onnet calling 150minutes per day for 3 months, and 1GB & then unlimited 1x data per month for 3 months. You will have to recharge Rs 62 on second and third month to continue the offer. MTS also offers two unlimited data packs specially for smartphones – STV189 & STV391 offering high speed 512MB and 1GB data & therefore unlimited 1x data for 30 days.

As an MTS customer, I'd hope for aggressive marketing from them like this in a greater magnitude before the ensuing spectrum auction.
