HTC One V CDMA (virgin Mobile) went switched-off

Recommended Posts

Got this HTC One V CDMA registered from one of our gurus here, on Reliance. The handset asked for MSL before entering into diag mode. To read the MSL, we have to root. Did NAM settings and dump and the phone was ready for activation. Subscriber transferred his number successfully by *228. Initially 1x was working for a few days and then it stopped suddenly. This handset is on a postpaid plan without any data plan. The owner took the handset to Reliance Mobile Store and the lady made numerous calls to *228 again and again and now the handset shows "switched-off" on incoming and a beep and disconnects on outgoing. Is it possible that the MIN may have wiped off? what should be done? the owner is searching for his old RUIM so I can write it back. Experts' advice awaited. Many thanks.
