jeeth 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2005 Hi, I bought a USB cable from the local dealer in Bangalore (SP Road). I downloaded the PCSYNC software from the LGMOBILE website. I am able to use PCSYNC but not able to connect through LG LINK. The USB cable connects to the phone through port COM11 but the LG LINK software is able to recognise only port COM1, COM2. I guess the LG LINK software is for serial port. Is there anyway that I can get a LG LINK software which will recognise my phone through the USB port or will I have to change the cable to a serial one? The primary reason for me buying the cable is to connect to the internet using the reliance phone as a modem. Kindly provide inputs and if you have the software kindly mail it to me. Arun 795 Report post Posted August 16, 2005 Is the COM1 and COM2 port used by any other devices or is it open ? If then, change your USB cable from COM11 to COM1 or COM2.
