Ram speeds might be mismatched. Is your second computer of the same config?

Best way to check if your second ram is compatible with your 1st system is to remove the ram from the first system and put the 2nd ram in its place.

If that works clean both the contact points of both chips and insert them correctly.

I think he jus wanted to use the Quick Launch from the Taskbar.

Right Click on the Taskar >> Toolbars >> Quick Launch.

Or simply press <WIN> + D, it does the same work (minimizes all open windows), to restore them simply press <WIN> + D again...

Hi Dudes,

Good and Nice shortcut ideas for using Quick Lanuch Toolbar. I have suggesting an always best idea for testing RAM Modules. What ever you have FPM, EDO, SDR or DDR you can able to use the tool. The Tool name was "Windows Memory Diagnostic" shortly called for "WMD" , Don't be freaking as "Weapons of Mass Destruction" lol. If you want real "WMD" ask Geroge W.Bush .Jr . May be he and his friend Tony Blair only knows the "WMD" where ever in the globe.

You can get this tool from microsoft's website. You can create as bootable CD from this tool. It is best for testing failure RAM Modules and able to save your valuable time from format and reinstalling OS. I hope to provide an useful for all. Really i am much happy to visting this site and help to non-techie persons and enjoy the techie funny. I think technology only able to convert our nation as powerful nation before AD 2020.

With Warm Regards,

This is mostly a case of mismatched RAM.

one might be PC100 and the other PC133.

Also, it could be latency problem.

Set CAS latency in BIOS to 3, if it is 2.

Use Memtest86+ from www.memtest.org to test the RAM.
