here most of retailers are not ready to recharge with this amount. They said such amount does not exist. MTS has not given any details to us. HOW to enter 4.99? it may get recharged with Rs499.. Does MTS have communicated to dealer about these amount? Do they have any printed leaflet for this. MTS website not showing these details.

@sougata I had already used mts sim modem, But at that time i had used recharged of Rs198. you can surely try extension by recharging with mobile recharge.or rs97.99 in USB modem. or wait till Rudradep tell his experience.

MTS provide following 1) mts mblaze, no RUIM all MBLAZE recharge applicable. 2) MTS branded NET phone. free 10GB/month then use mobile rechage(97.99) or MBLAZE rechage. ( sim given with phone are mapped to handset.)- sim can be used only with phone till free data consumption, then freedom to use with ANY DEVICE. 3) NEW/OLD OMH sim, any MBLAZE or MOBILE recharge (97.99) are applicable.SIM can be used with ANY DEVICE.

@ inception. Tried asking for EVDO plan in mumbai, but mts store was not having any info. Also i had tried recharging with 4.99, it's says "invalid amount" So i think plan not configured for MAHARASHTRA circle.

IMHO it's not true that if you remove sim data vashisehs. They want to prevent dealer/retailer or other person, sold TAB separately and 3G sim to different user. Bcoz these practises aew widely done in METRO like mumbai and delhi. And it's major market for reliance 3G. all other circle or reliance 3G, there will be very few taker for this TAB.

i think reliance brought these coolpad banded( oops sorry only STICKER is pasted, no brand) at rate of Rs 500/KG. So got outdated phones, with Poor specification, and non impressive design.
