Where can I get a NEW spare battery for PPC 6700 ( Sprint Version) here in india, want a new One ( or an extended Battery with Back Cover will also do ) , However an we use 3200 MAH battery with PPC 6700, Please Suggest & contact (OR) SMS me I had contacted HTC Customer Service center but they said they do not deal with PPC 6700 (when said reliance used to offer this handset, they have not even heard of reliance offering this HTC Product) Mob:09391033115 Satish Dave

Hi I got a PPC 6700 installed with ROM 3.50.00 WWE dt.04.25.07 Radio version 1.43.00 from one of our friends I am new to this PPC, also googled about PPC s for installing the applications & related stuff some way I was able to setup OUTLOOK sync on device working fine, still have few issues please inform me where can I find basic information ( start up) on how to install applications, about Hacks. I have few issues with my ppc which i want to resolve 1.want to change the service Provider name appearing on todays Home screen & other links like phone dialer, on the WL manager (some other persons name is appearing here) 2. I am not able to connect my office wi-fi. I've latest NetGear Wireless Router cum Access Point. It is set with following options: Security: NONE Authentication Type: Open Other laptops & systems in the network are easily able to connect to this Access Point. While my PPC-6700 can not associate itself. I have configured the IP, Subnet, Default Gateway,& DNS 1 & 2 as they are configured in my Wireless router on my ppcs tiacxwln Compatible Wireless Ethernet adapter settings, , I am able to see the WIFI strength indicator & My WIFI name on my PPC when WIFI is turned on but unable to browse on the Explorer, however using *777, I am able to browse but I prefer to use WIFI in office Priemisis also hint me on point 1 discussed above Please Help!!

Thankyou for your reply to my post! Finally the wifi is connected. after trying a lot. I had hard reset the device and put in the Network key password ( WEP) that's it ! ( i didnt even put in the IP & other stuff but it had dected & got connected .Good, think there would have been some registry error unidentified pror to the hard reset Thankyou all guys for your support. I am posting from my ppc -wifi, thanks once again!!

Is it possible for a PPC to get connected with a Projector ! is there any software available for the communicating the PPC Screen through Projector.

On my PPC 6700, the Previous user who sold it to me, had feeded his name.. in the place... where normally the service provider name appears on todays screen, I want to change that name which is appearing on todays screen, eventually it appears also on Home screen , also on dialer pad screen etc., infact I had tried to change it by searching through PHM Registry Editor which was preloaded on phone, by searching that named string in the registry, then changed name, saved the changes & back to todays screen,The changes are visible ..I thought its fine but.... when i check after some time ie., when i wake the Phone from sleep mode that previous user name appears again, What should i do to is there any program by which i can hack the info previously feeded & change as discussed above ..please help

I changed the name on Todays screen by using QPST & Changing the Banner Name in Programming Interface Thanks for your Support Ravjeet.

Hey Ravjeet that great ! Have you fixed issue of the Battery casing also ! may be use of a extended Battery pack with slide cover will work .... I Guess !

I got screen Protector for my 6700 when asked the shop seller ( Hyderabad) he said its the one for... Nokia N95 ( Rs.70 Only good quality) it fits very nicely on this screen & sensitivity works well & also regarding the Carry Pouch, I searched a lot to find one at last ... very nice & smooth finish .. without any thread stiching visible.... Soft & moulded... its O2 PDA phone pouch with waist band to fix on the Belt .. looks like smooth leather black & thick & flexible ( it doenent look like rexine .. also I think its durable .. As i do very rough use of it.... still theres no ware on it Rs.160 only) you can get these at any good Mobile accessory shops

I just purchased this phone 6700 & is my first PDA, so I'm quite unfamiliar with PDAs. I also would like to make this WIFI working, Previous owner said that the wifi already worked with hime ( he was using D-link wireless router) I am not able to connect my office wi-fi. pls send the link to download Resco Registry Editor, I got one on the web, downloaded the zip file & when insalled its not installing & showing error, my PPC is Hetal ROM WM6 Iam having PHM registry editor, but thats not opening with this reg editor pls to rescue I want to connect through WIFI when at home.

Any one pls inform whether you can access PDF , Excell , Word and such stuff on Samasung MAX, I heard these utilities are possible on Samsung FLO ( available with Tataindicm ).. I want to know whether such applications accessible on this device.
