^^^ Arun, I tried both the methods which you have mentioned in the post (of yours and DK's, though both are same), but I still have the same problem which anand desai has... when i dial 00 it automatically calls as +, and the call doesnt get through.. I have tried calling UK, the problem still persists... didnt try for any other country...

No offence to anyone, but Mamta is not doing good for the Indian Railways.. She only want to do something for WB.. Can people from WB, just throw light on what is she doing for that state?? Laloo was a lalloo, but he managed the railways ministry with ease.. it was a win-win situation for the govt and the consumers... everything was happening fast.. now the same type of work happens in a slower snails' pace..

^^^ Based on various observations and reviews on the internet, I personally feel, it is based on area-specifics... At some places, 3g GSM wins, whereas many other places EVDO wins... My need to start this thread was to make people (atleast rimwebians) aware that if you guys are planning to use or buy a new/upgrade your existing connection for wireless broadband, kindly do a reality check before going for any operator.. I hope this thread might have helped many people.. More discussions on this technology also needs to be carried on.. Do provide your valuable comments..

Ask him to look out for HTC Desire or Legend... they are one of the best android phones in GSM around presently.. I might be bad at knowing the latest news about GSM, but no harm in telling you this.. Alternatively, if you are not able to convince him to go for Android (your power determines this... ), and if he is ready to settle in for a pristine condition used iPhone 3G, then you can look at this sell post of mine.. LINK I am just being nicer to your friend rather than you.. But trust me, Android is the best in the CDMA platform... It can beat any OS for the cdma platform hands down..
