^^ I guess 3G in GSM will only increase the data speeds... I have no idea if the voice clarity would also be increased..

^^ just to add another thing... the voice clarity/signal reception of any CDMA connection is much much much better than GSM.... everyone using both the technologies, can throw some light on this...

^^^ good info dude... But i had a major problem in 4.2... I was not able to send or receive SMS from my reliance number... A friend of mine also had the same problem... he was not able to send/receive sms from his BB8830 OS4.2... Is there any patch or something which makes the SMS work in 4.2?? I would also love to come back to 4.2... -

@chintan,supernova, it is correct... RGSM GPRS might not work in imported BBs, because it is proxy enabled... Ill be checking with vodafone/idea in a few days... ill post info on this... Is anyone with idea, tried gprs on BB?? -
