in the qpst service programming, under the cdma tag, under cdma options, i had unknowingly ticked the option, "Class 1" IMSI... then when i did the settings again without the same, i was able to receive calls/sms...

^^^ continuation... I have managed to make the phone work... there was a small mistake unknowingly done in the qpst programming... anyways thanks for the support.. cheers!!

@vijay, I have tried the same... i checked all the commands in the QPST service programming and also in the cdma workshop... and again wrote the values... but still the incoming call problem persists.. I have not installed the latest rom!! do u want me to try it after installing the latest rom??... Also after I install the new ROM (3.56), will I be able to come back to the old ROM (3.35)?? Little urgent!! Thanks a lot

Guys... I have a friend, he has a reliance connection in Mogul 3.35 ROM. There is a peculier problem. His outgoing calls/sms are working perfectly alright. But he isn't getting incoming calls/sms.. strange... he came to me and i hard reset the phone from the beginning.... still the problem persists... help me if you guys can..!! Thanks!!

Guys, I have installed the new rom from sprint for my mogul.... the SMS is threaded, which I do not want.... is there any way, where we can change it?? I want it to be like how it was earlier... different messages all the time!!

Everything is perfect now... thanks to dhiraj/vijay/ABC... one thing i would like to let you guys know... the SP* when i entered during the service programming, which i had done it on the get SP* in my sd card with my new e** (the one on reliance), it did not work. It said the SP* is incorrect.... Then i found out the SP* of my actual mogul which is found on the box of my mogul, and guess what, the qpst service programming accepted it... its great na... another thing i tried with the service programming... when you enter all the details in the tabs (roam, gpsone, cdma, nam, etc.), there is another tab in it called as the display tab. In it where there was written reliance, i changed it to 'Greatest', my nick (he he)... and now i can see greatest written in places, where there was reliance earlier...!! qpst is a cool program...!! and many thanks to you guys...

@ vijay, could you please confirm that i have to do the following things (in order) to reload the reliance prl?? a) enter into bootloader (by holding power button and camera button) b ) run mtty application and enter all the commands and change the CID to 00000000 c) get the SPC from mogul d) put the phone in diag mode e) run cdma workshop enter all details and click 'write to phone' f) then only should i do the qpst programming, am i right?? Please do tell me that should i do all the above steps or should i only start with QPST service programming after putting the phone into diag mode?? thanks again

Dhiraj, I have done as u said... now my phone has the latest rom... but there is a triangle on top of the phone screen... the one which is a roaming sign i think... what wrong might i havedone, or is there something which i need to change??

^^^ a) the hrad SPL is already in my MOGUL... i had done the steps from 2-6 during April, when i layed my hands on my mogul... u r true, without which i wouldnt have been able to change the e** and m**... so the steps i had done it properly.... b ) I do not wish to install new rom of hetal... but do let me know, that after installing this new official rom, do i need to load the ext rom?? and as far as i know, loading of the extended rom is like, just to place the contents of 6800-exrom.rar into the root directory of the SD card?? c) How do i not let the sprint customisations run after installing the above rom?? i am not able to understand... d) one last thing, you have asked me to see the first post of this topic, in which hetal says in the first step itself to install "HardSPL Olipro2.4 Hard SPL MFG"... now im confused.. should i install or not??

@dhiraj, i have downloaded the above ROM... now in order to install tht in my mogul do i need to do the following (in order), 1) Flash the rom to mogul 2) Upload hard SPL (the one which is in the folder provided by hetal for the first time i think in march/april) 3) change the e*n, m*n, etc 4) run the mtty application 5) run cdma workshop (again the same one which is there in hetals first time submission, as above) 6) QPST service programming If you think i should do something else or have the the hard SPL, mtty & QPST need to be updated, if any...??? thanks
