I am staying in an area where 2 towers of the reliance network converge. So my phone catches these two towers randomly and fast also. This has an effect on the light of the screen. Once a network is caught, the lights switch on and the network area is shown, and again after a few seconds or mins. another network area is shown with the lights on. This way my battery drains very fast (it is on only for approx. 6 hrs.) whenever im at home, i have to keep it on charge. Is tehre any way wherein which i can change some setting and the lightrs stop lighting themselves, when a network area is caught? hope to get a response from you techno geeks... Also wanted to let everybody on this forum know that its a great place for newbie's like me... You guys are the best..!!

thts true, kamal. in 6275 there is no option of permanently keeping the backlight off. santosh, i think you must be right.. ill speak to the cc and then let everybody know if the problem is slved. thanks for the info though.
