^ the phone just got launched here , i doubt they wil be having 2.1 update besides one member already took a round of samsung service centre they told him no they always support gsm phones better the spica 2.1 is GSM and 2.1 update has been launched for all spica available around world this one is just on cdma networks in india and china

ok so for folks who dont know there has been a recent breakthrough .. with some drivers been extracted out of htc hd roms now call recording is possible on windows mobile devices .. as i always believd call recording is not limitation of windows mobile but its a limitation by the phone manufacturer the ICR ( in call recording ) cab file works by installing necessary drivers and .dll files on your windows registery it allows for recording calls both ways without having to have speaker on . it records calls internally also recording calls using bluetooth handsfree can be done .. with few tweaks it works on htc kasier /tytn2/tilt on cdma devices it works on htc raphael ( sprint touch pro ) /htc diamond sadly i tried a lot on htc mogul ...tried all types of cab files ,registery tweaks,/soft resets i was able to get "start recording " option in my dialer menu ... i was able to record call for 30 secs and then my mogul rebooted .. same thing happens when used with vogue . this gives me hope that it might be tweaked to work on mogul.. but for htc touch pro /diamond users this thing can be made to work for sure read these threads for all info http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=474920 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493118 to use icr u either need a third party all like vito auido notes or if u want to record from the dialer u need to have a dialer with call recording option ( hd dialer )

you have to dial ##8778# from the touch screen dialer you will get multi colour screen then u will have to connect to pc and make ure u have treo 650 bootloader drivers if pc detects phone bootloader mode then in mtty u will see option of usb , and u have to select usb and not com once connected in usb then use commands as described

well just recently i went through some info on net there are some people who have leaked mfi verions of 4.1.xxx and also radio lab tool 2.7 according to pics i have seen these tools are been able to unlock all gsm bbs all newer models aare supported also it nukes all newer bbs properly , so may be there is a chance hopefully someone leaks it to general public soon

do following use qpst 2.7 build 323 use model as surf 7600-7600 then once u open qpst send your spc , make sure spc is correct then press read , if it read properly means spc is correct then write prl also use bb 9630 os 4.7.140 if still u cant load

cracking all bb after 9530 is not possible thats coz the os blocks memory reading of nv if memory cant be read , phone cant be programmed so unless there is some breakthrough by chinese in making some customised OS , like how they made esn radio , we have no option but just to drool over these handsets

Actually the samsung galaxy is a cdma phone with ruim slot samsung has manufacured this one in bulk for chinese operators who also use ruim like us may be thats why even reliance took the part of deal or something like that there will be a strong business reason as to why reliance opted for this phone only reliance insider can shed light on it

this phone is available for indian and chinese cdma operators only this one will not get 2.1 , it will be with donut besides only advantage of this phone is using EVDO officially on reliance with tinge on android , something which users of imported android phones cant at moment all i all i fee its a good move by reliance , giving Android experince with EVDO atleast i say its better than using over priced corby and bb tour i dont think this one is very overpriced , we should not forget these are official retail prices , even in usa retail prices of hero/incredible are high , most phones sold here are bad esn ones dont forget . So for people who want official phone and want to taste EVDO this is best handset to do so Android is double fun when u have EVDO
